The target of 67 was never going to challenge a much more superior ACCB and it was a walk in the park for them, chasing it with as many as 6 overs to spare. There was never a moment when it looked like the Bucharest Super Kings could claw their way back into the game. The first over put the game to bed as Talha Ansari conceded 24 runs to put ACCB well ahead in the game.

Saeed Ullah departed in the opening over but Kusal Jayasinge looked in exceptional touch. He batted through the innings as they lost a couple of wickets at the other end. The Bucharest bowlers kept conceding extras which didn't help their cause. Jayasinghe eventually remained unbeaten on 33 off just 14 deliveries while Gohar Manna finished it off in style with a couple of lusty blows.
