Match summary:
Royal Tigers win by 7 wickets with 9 balls to spare
Arslan Basharat 60 (22) | Abhitesh Prashar 1/11 (2) Usman Muhammad 52 (16) | Usman Muhammad 2/11 (1)
Unlike their opponents from earlier in the game, the Tigers openers wasted no time in getting going. While Sadat Said kept things fairly tight in the first over, a couple of boundaries still came along for the Royals from it. The carnage began the next over - Arslan Basharat went after Arham Sultan, and helped fetch 19 off the second over. Basharat proceeded to clear the ropes thrice the next over, taking his side to 50 at the end of the powerplay.
The runs continued to flow at a decent pace, and at one stage, the Royal Tigers were looking good for a bonus point. Usman Muhammad was then brought on, and while he was smashed out the ground once and took a long time to complete his first over, he came away having broken the opening stand and then dismissing Stan Ahuja. Izharullah then dismissed Jayakumar, and a shift in momentum seemed to be on the cards.
Basharat, though, was still at the crease - he blazed the Tigers ahead with a few lusty blows of his own to go with the odd slice over the off side. Abhitesh Prashar chipped in with a couple of really big hits, and the Zalmi were home and dry with time to spare.
8.3 Akramullah Malikzada to Abhitesh Prashar, SIX! GAME SET AND MATCH TO THE TIGERS! Length delivery on the line of the off stump, Prashar picks that one up nicely and sends it sailing over the ropes to end the game in his team's favour. Royal Tigers beat Budapest Zalmi by 7 wickets
8.2 Akramullah Malikzada to Abhitesh Prashar, FOUR! Length delivery outside the off stump, Prashar comes down the track and cuts it over point for a boundary
8.1 Akramullah Malikzada to Abhitesh Prashar, SIX! Full length delivery on the line of the off stump, Prashar picks that one up nicely and sends it sailing over the midwicket boundary for a maximum
8.1 Akramullah Malikzada to Abhitesh Prashar, NO BALL! Full and pitched outside the pitch. That has been called a no ball!
Prashar got in on the act, and Basharat sure enjoyed it! Basharat closed the over out with a finely sliced boundary, and the Tigers are almost there - 14 needed off the last two!
