That was a thoroughly professional performance in the field from Greece as they won the first game of the tri-nation series against Bulgaria by 16 runs. After posting a below-par score of 99 in their allotted 10 overs, they came out al guns blazing especially on the field. They complemented the bowlers brilliantly and they never really dropped any catches and kept the pressure piling on Hungary.
They started off brilliantly though courtesy of some exceptional shots from Kushal Krishnakumar. He looked in great touch and looked like finishing the game off very quickly. However, a cluster of wickets from the 2nd over made sure that Greece was all over Hungary and despite the required rate not being too high, Hungary fell well short in the end.
Prakash Mishra did try his bit towards the end but lacked the big-hitting abilities which eventually helped Greece win it comfortably. Asrar Ahmed was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets to his name while Aslam Mohammad and Zubair Ashraf also bagged a couple each.
