So that will be all from the Pukekura Park in New Plymouth for this Super Smash game. But the action continues on Sportskeeda with Test matches coming from Australia and Pakistan, at the switch of tabs! Do not forget to check them out right now! This is Bidipto, saying good bye.
Tom Bruce (Central Stags captain): It was a fine performance by us, to win three games out of three at home is impressive. I though Ross Taylor played excellently with his trademark shots and the batting unit hung in there to make sure the asking rate was never out of hand. Before that, we bowled well and took wickets at the right times to break partnerships. Need to keep this performance going.
Robert O'Donnell (Auckland Aces captain): Really unlucky to end up on the losing side, but we tried out best, hung in there till the end, but unfortunately, could not dismiss Ross Taylor earlier on in his innings. I think we were impressive on this pitch, it wasn't the best of pitches to bat on but Cole Briggs batted really well. We are hoping for a quick turnaround in our fortunes and we have the team to do it.
Jayden Lennox (Game Changer): I think I'll be lying if any bowler says that he likes bowling here, but it is important to keep the focus going and stand up tall under pressure. We've spoken a lot across the three games about hitting the right lengths here, spin has improved bowling on this pitch and that helped. The bowling unit has been helping each other out with the pressure staying on the opposition batting.
Central Stags - 151/6, beat Auckland Aces - 150/9, by 4 wickets, with three balls to spare.
Ross Taylor 50 (40) | Ray Toole - 3/23 Cole Briggs 45 (25) | Louis Delport - 2/23
It was an exciting run chase in a way, with a wicket falling off the very first ball of the innings and the Aces hanging in there right till the end almost, but in the end, the Stags kept their composure, stayed abreast with the asking rate and got the job done nicely!
Louis Delport, with his left-arm spin was both economical and wicket-taking, and the rest of the bowling too had their moments and kept the entire team in the hunt to defend the score, but some fine batting from Ross Taylor and Dane Cleaver took the home side out of the hole they found themselves in early.
Towards the end, some important and much needed contributions from Josh Clarkson, Doug Bracewell and Brett Randell got the Stags over the line on a wicket that was not the easiest to bat on in terms of pace and behaviour.
Some of the fielding from the Aces was outstanding though, and Mark Chapman and their captain, Robert O'Donnell had big says on that front.
So with this win, Central Stags move up to the top of the table. Auckland Aces now have a lot of catching up to do.
19.3 Matt Gibson to Doug Bracewell, FOUR! THAT WILL DO IT FOR CENTRAL STAGS! Full on off, chipped over the top of cover point off the front foot, and down to the vacant deep cover point area, for the winning boundary!
19.2 Matt Gibson to Doug Bracewell, OH NO! Fuller outside off, wider again and Bracewell swings hard through the line off the front foot, the fielder at deep cover misses it completely by going to his right, it ends up going for FOUR to his left! Scores level.
19.1 Matt Gibson to Doug Bracewell, over the wicket, FOUR RUNS! Full and wide outside off, Bracewell leans slightly forward and WHACKS it over cover and out to the gap in the deep to the right of deep cover point, for a boundary!

18.5 Sean Solia to Brett Randell, FOUR! Short and wide outside off, Randell stays back, throws his hands at it and gets it over backward point for a boundary down to the vacant third man region!
18.4 Sean Solia to Brett Randell, short and slow outside off, a pull shot gets attempted, but there is no connection on it! Dot ball.
18.3 Sean Solia to Brett Randell, full on middle, yorker, and magnificently guided down to fine-leg by keeping eyes on the ball, to pick up two runs!
18.2 Sean Solia to Doug Bracewell, good length ball outside off, guided down to the backward point region from the back foot, for a single.
18.1 Sean Solia to Doug Bracewell, over the wicket, full and wide outside off, well hit off the front foot to short cover, but for no run. Either side of him would have been a boundary.

17.6 Danru Ferns to Brett Randell, full toss, just outside off, pushed away to deep point off the back foot, for a couple of well-taken runs!
Brett Randell, RHB, is at the crease.
17.5 Danru Ferns to Josh Clarkson, THIS IS A WICKET! Full on off, slightly slow maybe, but Clarkson still goes through with the shot, heaves it across the line from the crease, gets it really high and Mark Chapman at deep mid-wicket takes another good CATCH near the rope!
17.4 Danru Ferns to Doug Bracewell, full outside off, well struck to the right of short cover, off the front foot, and a fine stop keeps it to one run only!
17.3 Danru Ferns to Doug Bracewell, full outside off, Bracewell goes across, and can only bunt it back to the bowler for no run.
