Chattogram Challengers captain, Naeem Islam: We had good momentum before the break, we gave it away after the rain break. We only managed to score 30 runs and lost 6 wickets. Credit to Imrul Kayes and Liton Das they managed to take the game away from us

Player of the Match, Mustafizur Rahman: I don't think that I bowled a bad first over to be honest, I was trying to pick up a wicket but yes, they batted well against me in that over. 5 wickets in a T20 innings is not new for me, I have achieved in earlier, so it does give me confidence and makes me feel good.

Comilla Victorians captain, Imrul Kayes: I am happy that the match went our way in this fashion. First of all it was a splendid effort from Mustafizur to peg the Chattogram batting back by taking 5 wickets and then, the way Liton batted was very special for us. I was telling the coach that I wanted to bat in the top 3, this time he showed faith in me and I got the runs for my team, so I am happy with my own batting too.

The Comilla team have most definitely got their names right this season, as they are the victorians once again! They do the double over Chattogram in this edition of the Bangladesh Premier League.

Comilla Victorians now sit pretty on the top of the table while Chattogram Challengers remain fifth with plenty of work to do.

It was an iffy start with the ball for Comilla as their spinners were not able to keep the runs in check and were not successful in picking up wickets at regular intervals either. The Chattogram batting pair of Will Jacks and Shamim Hossain were going great guns against the slow bowling and making it very difficult for even experienced international T20 campaigners in Moeen Ali and Sunil Narine to control the innings with their bowling. The one over of pace from Mustafizur inside the first 12 overs too cost 14 runs.

But after the rain delay, everything changed for the Comilla Victorians as Mustafizur Rahman wreaked havoc, picking up one wicket after another, to bring the innings Comilla's way. He was lucky to have taken two wickets when one was hit well but straight to the fielder in the deep while another was hit hard and back at him, which he plucked incredibly out of thin air. His spell of 5 for 27 was the reason why Chattogram could not go past even 140 in their 18 overs, after being well placed to do so in 12.5 overs.

Set a revised target of 144 to chase, Imrul Kayes and Liton Das began very aggressively and throughout their partnership, continued to be aggressive, putting the bowling under pressure and the captaincy of Naeem Islam to the test. In the end, Chattogram had no answer to the onslaught of the Comilla openers as they both brought up their fifties and ensured victory for their side.

It was an inspired decision by Imrul Kayes to bat at the top of the order as he smashed 6 fours and 5 sixes in his unbeaten knock of 81 to take his team over the finish line. Liton Das himself hit 4 fours and 3 sixes to take the match away from Chattogram's grasp.

The fielding effort from Chattogram was also average on the whole, as the new highest run scorer of the competition, Will Jacks, dropped a sitter at deep square-leg to hand Liton Das his fifty. But, there were some good stops in the deep from Shoriful Islam and Shamim Hossain.

Mrittunjoy Chowdhury continued to be introduced late into the attack by Chattogram, though he was the sole wicket-taker for them on what was a very good pitch for everyone concerned.
