What a thriller we've just witnessed in the first Qualifier. There's plenty of action coming up in the next game as well as Pak I Care are going up against Hornchurch in the Eliminator in about 15 mins. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda to catch all the action from around the globe. On behalf of my partner, Raghav, this is me Pradeep signing off, stay safe and take care!
Dreux 128/7 in 9.2 overs Muhammad Rafah 38 (12) | Carson McCullough 3/32 (2) Ahmad Nabi 28 (10) | Adam Kennedy 2/18 (2)
Well, well! Dreux have just stunned everyone here and blown away the title favourites with an epic run chase. The pendulum kept shifting throughout the innings. Nabi got them off to a great start in the powerplay. Despite Niaz's failures, Nabi kept going. It took a monumental effort from van der Merwe and Mulder at the fence to get rid of him.
CIYMS were quite ahead in the game after Nabi's wicket. They kept picking up wickets in short intervals and did not let the batters settle after conceding boundaries. Nisar's dismissal came at a bad time and Carson took two wickets in the 8th over to put CIYMS in the driver's seat. However, in the same over, Rafah took Carson to the cleaners with three consecutive sixes including one off the no-ball. It was sort of a final nail in the coffin as the tide shifted to Dreux and they comfortably chased down the remaining 14 runs that were needed in the last two overs.
Dreux win by 3 wickets and make it to the finals. CIYMS will have to play the second qualifier now.
9.2 Allen Coulter to Ammar Zahir, FOUR! AMMAR ZAHIR SENDS DREUX INTO THE FINALS! Full delivery and just outside the off-stump. Zahir squeezes it through the covers, fielder gives the chase and dives but can't stop it, it's a boundary and it's a heart break for CIYMS but they'll have another chance in the Qualifier 2 to make it into the finals!
9.1 Allen Coulter to Ammar Zahir, low full toss on the off-stump. Zahir pushes it straight to mid-off for no run. It's a dot ball!
Allen Coulter (1.0-0-13-0) is back into the attack
Rafah is not out here anymore but he has turned things around for his side. Just two runs are needed off the final over. Glenn Maxwell had defended two off the final over against Pakistan one, can Allen Coulter do the same?

8.6 Jacob Mulder to Ammar Zahir, short on the middle and off. Zahir swipes it behind square for a single.
8.5 Jacob Mulder to Usman Khan, drops it short, skids outside the off-stump. Usman cuts it into the turf towards covers for one. Just 3 needed now!
Usman Khan, RHB, comes to the crease
Is there a twist in the tail? Rafah has done the job, surely the lower order can take care of the rest?
8.4 Jacob Mulder to Muhammad Rafah, OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! Is there still hope for CIYMS here? Length delivery on the stumps. Rafah has a big swing across the line but misses it completely and sneaks through the gates to crash into the stumps. What a Qualifier 1 we've witnessed already!
Muhammad Rafah b Jacob Mulder 38 (12b, 1x4, 5x6)
8.3 Jacob Mulder to Ammar Zahir, drops it short and just outside the off-stump. Zahir went to cut but chopped it back past the keeper for one.
8.3 Jacob Mulder to Muhammad Rafah, WIDE! Full but loses his line, strays way down the leg-side, it's called a wide and they pick up a bye too.
8.2 Jacob Mulder to Muhammad Rafah, SIX! BAM! Sensational stuff from Muhammad Rafah, he's turned this game on it's head here. Length delivery but well outside the off-stump. Rafah sits on one knee and CLOBBERED it way over long-off fence for another maximum.
8.1 Jacob Mulder to Ammar Zahir, drops it short on the stumps. Zahir gives himself some room, cuts it around backward point for a single.
Jacob Mulder (1.0-0-15-0) is back into the attack
Massive end to the over! CIYMS were in complete control but three sixes in a row from Rafah has blown them away. This is absolutely box office from Muhammad Rafah, playing like a man possessed.

7.6 Carson McCullough to Muhammad Rafah, SIX! Make that three in a row. Muhammad Rafah you beauty, he's brought Dreux back into the game here. Length delivery but wide of off-stump. Rafah reaches but makes good connection and SMOKES it straight down the ground for a maximum.
