CIC won by 12 runs FAR - 133/9 (10 overs) Zak Tribe - 83(27) | Oliver Hald - 23(9) Carson McCullough - 4/4 | Adam Kennedy - 2/23
CIC seals the nail-biting contest by outclassing FAR by 12 runs in the end, courtesy a steady bowling display. Chasing 146, FAR had a rocky start losing their top order cheaply. It was Zak Tribe and Oliver Hald, who made amends and steadied the innings to keep FAR's chances propelling in the contest.
The duo scripted a partnership of 44 runs and put FAR on the driver's seat as CIC at one point in time could sense the match slipping away from their hands. FAR were well on course to win the match as Zak Tribe ensured he bats till the very end.
However, it was Carson McCullough who played spoilsport to FAR's ambitions. Coming in to restrict 16 off the last over, McCullough picked up three wickets including the crucial scalp of Zak Tribe to overturn the fortunes at the penultimate moment and help CIC seal the match comfortably.
