Ryan John eventually wins it for the Saffron Strikers! It was him who took this game to a super over with a brace in the first place, his 3-ball 8 got his team to 14 in the super over, and then he took it upon himself to defend the total! Truly a captain's performance! He tried bowling wide yorkers from round the wicket, wasn't able to land them right, but still didn't concede a single boundary in the super over!
Darrol Nedd's 24-ball 41 helped the Clove Challengers get to 98 in 9.1 overs before the rain interrupted proceedings. The Strikers weren't too disciplined with the ball; 20 extras were bowled, but they managed to contain the batsmen from going after them. The rain break went on for a bit too long, and once it ended, a total of 3 overs were allotted with 39 to get off them. Dillon Douglas went after it, Lendon Lawrence and Mickel Joseph chipped in with boundaries, and a briskly run brace from Ryan John and Joseph off the last ball took the game to a super over. John stayed back in the middle as Douglas re-joined him, as the pair got 13 off Imran Joseph. John then took his pads off and bowled the super over for his side, and restricted the Challengers to 4 runs of their score.

Low full toss on the off-stump, Joseph down on one knee to slog sweep but gets the inside edge and picks up a single. Challengers couldn't hit a single boundary in the super-over!
