That is it from the action here. Make sure you keep following Sportskeeda for all the cricketing action around the globe. For now, this is Sourabh and Darpan signing off. See you soon!
An ECN match with the highest individual score of 18, sounds unlikely, isn't it? Well, that was what we witnessed today.
Gamblers CC made heavy work of the run chase of 90 runs but, in the end, have managed to get home with 6 balls to spare.
The chase got off in a slow and lethargic manner with the batters not being able to make any sort of decent connection with the ball. They just kept knocking the 1s and 2s before both the openers got out.
Ankush Kumar and Amandeep Khokhar, then, provided some much needed impetus to the innings as they got a few boundaries away.
The rain came in and for a moment it looked like the match would not be completed but the players and the umpires kept at it, Somehow the rain disappeared and the sun came out but the fielding and bowling became really difficult for the Knights as the ball became wet. They fielded very poorly and in the end went down due to that.
Earlier, it was a laboured effort with that bat which saw the Coimbra Knights hobble their way to 89 losing 9 wickets in the process and it was in the field that Gamblers CC had won the match.
9.1 Bachiter Singh to Nishant Verma, WIDE!! It is down the leg and that is it. Gamblers SC win this!
Bachiter Singh, right-arm medium, comes into the attack.
Scores are level and Coimbra Knights have no one but themselves to blame for letting this match go. They had it under control but their fielding has been super sloppy and that has cost them

8.6 Ravi Jakhu to Nishant Verma, single to mid off and SCORES ARE LEVEL.
8.6 Ravi Jakhu to Nishant Verma, wide outside off.
8.5 Ravi Jakhu to Nishant Verma, short ball, off the arm, ricochets to third man and a couple is taken.
8.4 Ravi Jakhu to Nishant Verma, down the leg and Verma swivels to send it to long leg. MISFIELD AND IT IS FOUR!!!
8.3 Ravi Jakhu to Nishant Verma, DROPPED AND SIX!! This time Nishant goes over long off. The fielder has parried it over the ropes.
It is bright and sunny now, can you believe it?
8.2 Ravi Jakhu to Nishant Verma, slower ball angled across the lefty. Swing and a miss from Verma.
NIshant Verma, LHB, is the new batter
This match is turning out to be a thriller, it has swung yet again with Ankush Kumar walking back. In the balance again!
8.1 Ravi Jakhu to Ankush Kumar, GONE!!! Bachiter catches at long off. Straight batted stroke. He lofts it with a high backlift but doesn't get enough distance.
Ankush Kumar c Bachiter Singh b Ravi Jakhu 18 (15b, 3x4, 0x6).
Ravi Jakhu [1.0-0-11-0] is back into the attack.
Somehow, Gamblers CC have managed to make their way back into the game and it seems like the sun has made its way out too.
