Imrul Kayes | Comilla Victorians Captain: The wicket was a bit tricky to bat on for the batters and we're really happy with the way we batted! Mukidul has been a star for us the last few games and he kept up the good work today as well. He had a lot of confidence on Andre Russell and he delivered on that. Sunil Narine, too bowled really well. I wasn't a 100% today due to a stomach bug but really happy with the way the team played.
Mukidul Islam | Player of the Match: Prayers to the almighty! I'm really happy since it is my first wicket haul and I'm proud of the way I bowled. I felt that the pitch , was two-paced in nature and it aided me in my efforts.
Shakib Al Hasan | Fortune Barishal captain: We batted poorly. It was difficult wicket to bat on. We should have scored 140-150 had we applied ourselves. We couldn't assess the wicket. The fast bowlers bowled really well. It was up to our fast bowlers to keep on taking wickets. In a game like this one or two balls can change the momentum. I have to give credit to my team for the way they fought. In a game like this we can't afford any mistakes but I can't complain about the commitment.

What an emphatic win for the Comilla Victorians! They've won 8 in a row now and have set a new record in the BPL history. Fortune Barishal kept fighting throughout the game and put them under pressure but it was the man from the West Indies, Andre Russell who finished things off in style and boy did he put on a show! He was ably assisted by Khushdil Shah who scratched around initially but found his feet once he got set and upped the ante. Earlier Litton Das, played a crucial knock of 36 and set them up for the chase.
The Barishal bowlers, bowled with a lot of heart but 121 was never going to be enough against a power-packed batting line up like Comilla. However they did really well to make a match out of it and kept picking up wickets at regular intervals. Fast bolwers, Ebadot and Khaled were remarkable for them and bowled some really tight lines. However in the end, it was the 18th over from their skipper Shakib that cost them the game as Russell hammered him for 17 runs in it.
Comilla Victorians have gone top of the table now with this win now and they're looking really dangerous for any team at the moment! They've won 8 in a row and will be the team to beat in the playoff. Fortune Barishal, will have to get back to the drawing board and look to improve their batting since it has led them down big time in this game.
