That's it from this breath-taking game, folks! This is Rudransh and Bidipto signing off but the action isn't over yet! Switch tabs and catch the 2:15 ECS match right here on Sportskeeda!
WHAT A CHASE! WHAT A MATCH! ZALMI COMPLETE THE FIFTH HIGHEST CHASE IN ECS T10 HISTORY WITH 3 BALLS (YES 5% OF THE DELIVERIES) TO SPARE! SIMPLY WOW! SANGAR, YOU BEAUTY! TAKE A BOW! Pakhtoon Zalmi beat Cossonay by 6 wickets!
What just happened here? It's still a bit tough to digest. Let's try together. Zalmi needed to chase 161 in 10 overs, something which has been done just four times before in the history of this tournament. They had a team over-reliant on Sangar without much teamwork to show on their record.
But look at the figures now, they don't have the best batting performance of the game, nor do they have the best bowling spell but they have won! Sangar and Ahmed started well. They were edging more balls than they were timing but runs came as Cossonay fluffed a few chances with the slippery ball, despite bowling well.
Whatever chances they had built, though, looked like diminishing fast when Ahmadzai got back-to-back wickets in the the fifth, cleaning up both Ahmed and the skipper Hussain. That's when the team spirit kicked in. First Shinwari and then Azizi before finally Butt all played key cameos to ease pressure off Sangar.
The latter did the rest in the ninth by plundering 33 runs, after the required run-rate had been close to 22 for most of the innings. With 9 needed off the last over, he hit two more sixes (making it 11 for the game) to finish things off!
9.3 Venu Agarwal to Arif Sangar, SIX RUNS TO FINISH IT FOR PAKHTOON ZALMI! Full on middle-stump. Arif stays deep in his crease, clears the left leg and swipes it over deep mid-wicket to pick up half-a-dozen and win the match for his team!
9.2 Venu Agarwal to Arif Sangar, SIX RUNS HERE! ONLY TWO REQUIRED NOW! Good length ball on off-stump. Crunched over the left of long-on off the back foot for a maximum!
9.1 Venu Agarwal to Moaz Butt, full outside off-stump. Driven down to deep extra cover off the front foot for a single.
Venu Agarwal [1-0-19-0] comes back into the attack
WOAH WOAH WOAH! WHAT A KNOCK! 33 off the over! That's simply unbelievable! Just 9 needed off the last over!

8.6 Jai Sinh to Arif Sangar, DISMISSED FOR SIX! Short on off-stump. Clubbed off the back foot over the right of deep mid-wicket for a flat maximum here!
8.5 Jai Sinh to Arif Sangar, SIX MORE RUNS! Full toss around off-stump. Clobbered off the front foot over deep mid-wicket again for a maximum!
8.4 Jai Sinh to Arif Sangar, FREE HIT! SIX RUNS! Length ball slowed down on leg-stump. Blasted well over deep mid-wicket from the middle of the bat for half-a-dozen!
8.4 Jai Sinh to Moaz Butt, NO BALL! Short and slow outside off-stump but that cuts the return crease. Punched to cover off the back foot for a single.
8.3 Jai Sinh to Moaz Butt, SIX MORE! Full toss around off-stump. Clouted over deep mid-wicket from the middle of the bat for a maximum!
Moaz Butt, RHB, comes to the crease! 35 needed off 10 balls, this could go out of hand in a moment!
That's a disaster! No communication at all and it's just poor cricket!
8.2 Jai Sinh to Arif Sangar, RUN OUT! Azizi has to go! Good length ball around middle-and-leg. Pulled down to deep backward square-leg off the back foot. They take one, Azizi wanders down to take the second but by then, the throw came back in and the keeper did really well to throw the stumps down at the striker's end!
Nasibullah Azizi run out (Srinath Sripath/Waseem Javaid) 22 (15b, 1x4, 3x6)
8.1 Jai Sinh to Arif Sangar, SIX! Full and slightly wide outside off-stump. Arif stays deep in the crease and slaps it over deep extra cover for a maximum! He goes to 50!
Jay Sinh [1-0-13-0] comes back into the attack
Oh Azizi! What a knock! The required run-rate was 22 and he hit exactly that number in 5 balls! WOW! This match is back in the balance. This is a big, big over coming up.
