An extremely poor batting performance by the Cyprus Super Kings led to an embarrassing defeat in the hands of the Napa Royal Kings here today. They just did not show the intent to chase down the total that was set to them by the Royal Kings and went down by a huge margin of 75 runs.
Their openers Siva Patti and Subareddy Alavala were the main culprits.

Alavala did make up for it later on, but in the beginning, it seemed as if they did not even want to play some aggressive shots to get going. it was only when their captain Venkatreddy Emani came to bat that things changed slightly. However, note the emphasis on the word slightly.

After his dismissal, there was not too much of a change in the Super Kings batting, and they fell into their old routine of not pushing their barriers when the going got tough. Sehran Ahmed was surely the man of the match, with his match-winning performances both with bat and ball. The Royal Kings were the better side here and won this game quite comfortably, almost in a one-sided manner.
