Match summary:
Botanical Gardens Rangers win by 4 wickets with 7 balls to spare
Andre Fletcher 38(13) | Kenneth Dember 2/7 (2) Navin Stewart 45*(24) | Navin Stewart 2/6 (1.5)
There was a feeling that we were heading for an extremely quick finish as long as Andre Fletcher was out there. The spiceman put up a show in the 13 balls he faced, smashing the living daylights out of the cricket ball(s) and getting his team well ahead of the equation. Nothing seemed to work against him in the first two overs, as he helped fetch half the target within them.
But once he got out, the complexion of the game turned upside down. The nature of the pitch was known to the viewers, as the Rangers middle-order struggled to get the job done clinically. Wickets fell at regular intervals, and the Dark View Explorers were sniffing a comeback in the game. The fact that the required rate was under 6 all along for the Rangers did little to discourage them.
Once Ronnel Jeffrey brought the equation down to 2 off the final over, there was a feeling that it'd take one more delivery for the game to end, but it didn't. Navin Stewart trapped him in front, and all of a sudden, the Explorers were into the Rangers' tail. Jerron John was quite nervous, but he managed to help the Rangers get past the line along with Kenneth Dember. The Botanical Gardens Rangers continue their fine run in the tournament.
8.5 Navin Stewart to Kenneth Dember, slow delivery on a good length, Dember tucks it in the gap to take a single. The Rangers get the fourth win of the tournament
8.4 Navin Stewart to Jerron John, back of a length angling in, John mistimes his pull to the leg-side and hustles across to the other end to complete a single
8.3 Navin Stewart to Jerron John, full angling down the pads, John clips and the ball hit the boot on it's way to the diving keeper
8.2 Navin Stewart to Jerron John, slow delivery on a fuller length, John clips it to short mid-wicket
Jerron John, RHB, comes to the crease
8.1 Navin Stewart to Ronnel Jeffrey, OUT! Pitched up on a good length angling in, Jeffrey tries to swing across but gets hit on the front pad.
Ronnel Jeffrey LBW b Navin Stewart 13 (9b 1x4 1x6)
That escalated quickly! Roneil Jeffrey got the Rangers the big over that they were after! It took him a while, but he went on to make good connection, and now the Rangers are on the brink of victory!

Shammon Hooper (1-0-2-1) is back into the attack
The Rangers are facing a wobble now. Pierre took one tremendous catch in that over to account for Browne! The required rate is still under 6, so a good over from here will seal the deal. They still need to have that good over, though....
