Nothing much to defend on the board did not really help the Vikings to begin with. Ghori bowling his two overs in the powerplay leaked 21 runs. While the leading run-scorer with the bat for the Vikings Sami bowled an over and was belted for 17 runs which mostly buried the game. Towards the end, the Vikings skipper Rifat came on to bowl and got the consolation wicket of Soban.

Coming in to chase 47, the Cobra openers Jogi and Soban took it easy in the first over. After that, Jogi decided to take the aggressor role and started to hit the boundaries. Jogi remained not out till the end as he scored 32 off 15. His partner Sobar scored 10 but lost his wicket right when the scores were tied and Jogi eventually got the Cobra side home.

A simple run-chase for Cobra in the end. This will boost the net run rate for the Cobra's massive and it could surely come in handy going towards the playoff stages. Not the start Vikings would have wanted in the ECS but it's going to be a learning curve for them.
