Rohit Sharma (Mumbai Indians captain): Obviously, winning the game is most important. Great feeling to cross the line. We have been working really hard. Held a camp before the season started. We do understand that this isn't the end but the first win is special, so we are going to cherish it. We recently played a Test here, the pitch didn't look different then. Thought that it was important to get the spinners into the game quickly. As we saw, as the game went on, it was difficult for the batters to score. We spoke about the fact that if it's someone's day, they should make it big. I thought in my mind that it is going to be tough against quality spinners, so wanted to be aggressive and play my shots. it was good to see Tilak being positive as well. Was important for us to have that big partnership. We have a lot of young guys who haven't played IPL seriously. They will be hit for runs, they will keep getting out but it is important to give them the confidence and back the players. We want to have a healthy atmosphere. Don't want to make drastic changes looking at the results!

Cameron Green: You'd probably expect us to get there earlier but we got it, that was the only thing on my mind. I knew I had to be running for the second run. So, I took my helmet off and got through. The conversations we had on the bench was about staying busy and finding 2-3 boundaries. Thankfully, a few came off. It's pressure but it's fun. Getting 10 an over, that's why you're here. Nice to get over the line. (Last run) I knew the ball was going to Tim's end. When I saw the throw was high, I knew he'd get in. He's a big guy and put the dive in.

David Warner (Delhi Capitals captain): If you look at the last three days, the IPL has been sensational. On the wrong end but we can't fault our bowlers, they were excellent today. Rohit was fantastic at the top of the order and we did well to pull things back. He's (Nortje) world-class. That's what we expect from the big fella. Bowling at 150 clicks, alongside Mustafiz at the other end, they did a great job. (His throw) I reckon if I threw it flat I would have hit David because he was running across. From the last three games we've played, there are a lot of positives. One thing we need to do is make sure we don't lose wickets in clumps. Axar has been fantastic with his batting, we'll probably have to push him at 4 soon. 180 was probably the par score on this wicket for the start we had

The IPL continues to entertain us and how! Mumbai Indians seal a thrilling last-ball win to get their first victory of the tournament. Incredible dive from Tim David to get into the crease with two needed off the last ball!

Chasing 173 for victory, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan went full on in the Powerplay as they managed to put on 68 for no loss. The introduction of spin slowed down the scoring rate a touch and eventually Kishan got run out in the eighth over. Tilak Varma cane in and started a tad slow but the 11th over which saw 14 runs being scored gave some momentum to MI.

Out of nowhere, Delhi came back strongly with Axar Patel and Lalit Yadav bowling two economical overs. Mustafizur Rahman doubled down on that as he gave away just two runs to reduce the equation to 50 off the last five overs. This is when David Warner took the big call of throwing the ball to Mukesh Kumar. It didn't start well at all as Tilak smashed him for 16 runs in the first three balls. Mukesh did end the over by dismissing Tilak and Suryakumar Yadav off back-to-back deliveries but the asking rate pressure was gone by then.

Things became more interesting when Abishek Porel plucked out a stunning catch off Mustafizur's bowling to dismiss Rohit. Anrich Nortje then followed it up with a six-run over but Cameron Green and Tim David struck a six each off Fizz's bowling to change the complexion of the game. With only five needed off the last over, Nortje had a massive task on his hand but he executed yorker after yorker to make it two off the last ball. The rest doesn't need to be explained.

19.6 Anrich Nortje to Tim David, Mumbai Indians clinch an absolute thriller at Kotla! Hang on. Hang on. This is still being checked for a runout, which now confirms David is comfortably home courtesy of his full stretched dive. It was pitched up outside off as David leaned in to push it towards long-off and immediately knew he was coming back for the second run. The two giants relied on their big strides to get home with Warner's throw not being the most accurate at the keeper's end. Mumbai Indians win by 6 wickets and get their first win of the tournament!

19.5 Anrich Nortje to Cameron Green, another pin point yorker on the middle stump line. Green shovels it out to short mid-wicket and they rightly take off for a single. The throw from Mukehs needed to be better, could have easily passed it to Nortje instead.

19.3 Anrich Nortje to Tim David, wide. Capitals review instantly. Yorker angled into the pads this time and it slipped down leg as David missed his flick. Did it clip the pad on the way? Replays suggest it did but we'll get UltraEdge to confirm. Clear spike as the ball passed the bat. It will be a dot ball! 4 needed in 3 balls now.

Would you believe it? Mukesh Kumar has dropped a sitter at short mid-wicket! No run though. MI need 4 off 4 balls!

19.2 Anrich Nortje to Tim David, DROPPED! Will that prove to be costly? Full on the middle stump line and David swipes it straight to Mukesh at short mid-wicket. He snatched at that chance and grassed it. It's still a dot ball though.
