Well, then. That will be all from us! With that result, the Rajasthan Royals move to the top of the table, level on points with the Gujarat Titans and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. As for the Capitals, they're still stuck in the mid-table scrap as the tournament moves on. Speaking of which, it's a double-header tomorrow. KKR and GT will kick off the action on Saturday afternoon, with RCB going head-to-head against SRH in the second match of that. Jos Buttler is the Player of the Match. Here is what he has to say: It was a special knock, I enjoyed it. I love this stadium, it was a fantastic atmosphere. My first IPL was here with the Mumbai Indians and it's always been great here. I am enjoying the best form of my life, trying to work out why. We've got a fantastic side and we need to continue with this form all the way through. Was just trying to get through. The ball swung in the first over and it was a bit tricky at the start. You need to soak up that pressure and try and come through it. You know that one ball will set you underway. Once you get through it, the confidence comes back. We have managed to build such good partnerships, Devdutt played fantastically well from the other end. It just felt like the time was right to attack, so we decided to attack and put the pressure back on Delhi. The wickets may change, there are going to be used wickets with only four grounds in the tournament. There wasn't any dew tonight, the teams might favor batting first if the conditions are different. Everyone will need to adapt as the tournament goes on.

Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals): I think it was a full toss and it went for a six. The umpire made a decision and he stuck to it, pretty clearly. We wanted to be around him (McCoy) and try to make him smile, which wasn't easy. It's not easy for a bowler to be hit for three sixes in three balls. We wanted to give him a breather. We wanted to go for the wide yorker and change the plan, give away a four maybe and kill the game. It was a really great performance. It was a tough challenging game, like the last one. It wasn't over until the end, with a big-hitter like Powell out there. At this venue, you know any target is chasable. It all comes up to having confidence and backing yourself. Can't say anything about losing the toss. We would like to chase at some point in the tournament. It's good to do that. There wasn't any dew. It's funny to have no dew at the end of the innings. Having said that, our bowlers are experienced enough to bowl with dew as well. It's normal to drop catches but it's okay. I dropped one in the previous game too. I told the players how to recover from a dropped catch. It's very normal. Chahal was calm about it though. He wanted to bowl. He bowled really well after that too. Ashwin and Chahal have been bowling well, touch wood we continue to do it. He (Buttler) has been playing well, and that's a crucial part in this format. It's important to understand the partnerships. DDP is a smart cricketer and there's a lot more to come from him.

Rishabh Pant (Delhi Capitals): I think they were bowling well throughout the game but in the end, Powell gave us a chance. I thought the no-ball could have been precious for us. I thought we could have checked that, but it's not in my control. Yes, we're disappointed, but we can't do much about it. Everyone was frustrated because it was not even close, so I thought it was only a no-ball. Everyone in the ground saw that. I think the third umpire should have intervened in between and said it was a no-ball, but I can't change the rule myself I guess. [On someone from the team management coming onto the field to argue the no-ball call] Obviously it wasn't right, but what happened with us was also not right. It was just the heat of the moment, can't do much about it. I think it was the fault of both of the sides, not even only for us because throughout the tournament we have seen some good umpiring. It hurts more when you go so close, especially to a match when the other team has scored 220 runs, but I feel we could have bowled a little better. It's part and parcel of the game. I can only tell them to have their chin up and prepare for the next one right now.

All smiles now in the middle but that ending did cast a bit of a dark shadow over what was a nail-biting question throughout. The contest promised plenty of runs and it didn't disappoint in that regard. Action, drama, heartbreak, and elation. This one had it all! Of course, that included a Jos Buttler special as well.

The Englishman continued his imperious form tonight as he recorded his third century this season. Devdutt Padikall and Sanju Samson played an excellent support cast to their opener, capitalizing on the rollicking start to get their side to what proved to be a par total in the end.

It was a watchful start from the Delhi Capitals openers but Shaw and Warner couldn't build on their starts. Pant was at his fluent and attacking best but he too couldn't carry on and perished in trying to up the ante. It was Krishna and Ashwin that did the early damage for the Royals to seemingly have done enough at one stage. Or at least what looked enough at that stage.

However, Lalit Yadav played a handy little knock as he became the glue to the middle order. His 37 kept Delhi in the hunt but the team management's perplexing decision to hold back Rovman Powell didn't quite pay off in the end.

Krishna had his say as he delivered a match-winning wicket-maiden in the 19th over, keeping 36 in the bank for Obed McCoy against his fellow West Indian. After being smacked for three sixes in the first three balls, chaos unfolded in the middle. That really was self-inflicted from Delhi as they killed Powell's momentum and with that, their own chances to win this game. That leaves most of us wondering what could have happened if Powell was sent in earlier. I guess we'll never know.

It seemed like Powell was on his way to pull off something extraordinary but it's not gone that way. 19.6 Obed McCoy to Rovman Powell, OUT! CAUGHT! High up in the air and it is taken! Quite an anti-climatic finish and it is the Royals who emerge victorious in the end by 15 runs! One can only wonder what if that delivery was adjudged as a no ball! Sheer drama and the Capitals are not pleased a bit! As for the delivery, it was a short of a length ball on the middle stump, Powell swings hard at that. Gets the top edge that flies high into the night sky. Samson calls for it, settles under it and takes a good diving catch to seal the deal for the Royals!

That long delay hasn't helped DC. Not one bit. In fact, it's taken all the sting out of the moment.
