MATCH SUMMARY
Dreux won by 28 runs
Mohammad Nisar 65(26) | Wahid Abdul 2/21(2) Tahseenullah Safi 52(19) | Tahseenullah Safi 2/30(2)
A pretty one-sided affair in the end even as Tahseenullah Safi provided some fireworks in the second half of the chase but it was never going to be enough for PUC with the lethargic start they had.
They kept losing wickets right from the beginning as they were reduced to 33/4 with Wahid Abdul doing the early damage with the ball for Dreux. Even though captain William and Safi got together and played a few big shots, specially Safi, the target proved to be a bit too far the team from Paris.
Dreux, in the first innings, got to a more than respectable total of 148 on the back of two spectacular fifties from Mohammad Nisar and Hamza Niaz. It seemed like it should be enough at that stage and that is exactly what it proved to be. The only shining light for PUC was Taseenullah Safi who along with his sparkling half-century, got 2 crucial wickets with the ball as well.

8.6 Usman Khan to Waseem Bhati, SIX!
8.5 Usman Khan to Waseem Bhati, short and wide, cuts and misses
Abdullah Anwari, RHB, walks out to the middle.
With Safi walking back, that has to be the final nail in the coffin for PUC
8.4 Usman Khan to Tahseenullah Safi, OUT! Slower one outside off, looks to over-hit it over deep covers but doesn't time it at all and ends up hoicking it for an easy catch at deep covers
Tahseenullah Safi c Kamran Ahmadzai b Usman Khan 52 (19b, 1x4, 7x6).
8.3 Usman Khan to Tahseenullah Safi, full and wide, looks to hoick it over covers but misses
Probably Safi will end up on the losing side, but this has been a spectacular fifty from him regardless of the result.
8.2 Usman Khan to Tahseenullah Safi, full and wide, gets an under edge on the hoick, trickles away to deep fine leg
8.1 Usman Khan to Tahseenullah Safi, FOUR! Full on middle and off, sits down and sweeps it hard, the fielder at deep square leg dives but doesn't keep it in. That's his 50 too!
Usman Khan [1.0-0-14-1] is back into the attack.
Waseem Bhatti, RHB, comes to the crease.
What a brilliant over by Ahmadzai as he dismissed the PUC skipper to put his team right on top again.
