Haider Ali: I put in a lot of effort and this is the result of that. During day matches, there is help for spinners. Just focused on my strengths and that worked well. Want to play in the final and win
Haider Ali has been named as the 'Player of the Match'
A chase that was going to be a tricky one given that the surface wasn't easy to bat on but Fujairah have managed to hold their nerve and get the win they were after to bounce back after a loss last night. Dubai had a competitive total of 81 to play with thanks to skipper Safeer Tariq's unbeaten 24 although Haider Ali's outstanding spell meant that they couldn't get more.
In reply, Fujairah started well although Tariq turned to spin early with Nilansh Keswani castling the dangerous Raees Ahmed early to apply the brakes. Rahul Bhatia sent down a quiet over of his own and it was a testing period of play with Salman Khan and Nasir Faraz unable to hit the spinners at will. The floating powerplay saw the momentum shift in favor of Fujairah though as the extra pace of Shahid Nawaz was just what the batters were after with Salman picking up pace.
While Nasir continued to struggle for timing, Salman found the fence at will and ensured that Fujairah stayed ahead of the asking rate to remain in control of the chase. His wicket didn't deter their flow either, with Nasir then managing to middle the ball and take his team closer to the target. His wicket added a late twist to the tale with Aryan Lakra sending down a superb penultimate over but it was always about one big hit to get the job done.
Skipper Umair Ali was the man who eventually unleashed that as he finished it off in style with a big hit to ensure Fujairah returned to winning ways. This result means that Fujairah remain perched on top of the points table with 12 points from seven matches while Dubai remain in fourth position with four points from seven games. They have plenty of catching up to do now with time running out and having failed to generate enough momentum with the points table heating up.
That's a way to finish it off alright! The captain gets it done under pressure and it's a superb performance from Fujairah as they manage to wrap up a tricky chase.
9.1 Abdul Malik to Umair Ali, UMAIR FINISHES IT OFF IN STYLE! Length delivery, Umair walks down the track and swings it crisply over long-on for a maximum. So, Fujairah get back to winning ways with a six-wicket victory!
9.1 Abdul Malik to Umair Ali, full and down leg, Umair swings and misses it. WIDE called
Abdul Malik [1.0-0-12-0] to bowl the final over of the game
Phenomenal over from Lakra as he extracts enough turn and keeps the batters quiet enough to take this into the last over. This one is getting very tight and while one hit will seal the deal, it isn't as straightforward as it seems. Set for a thrilling finish here then. Fujairah require 6 runs to win off the last over!

Would you believe it! Nasir Faraz has failed to finish the job for his side and this one isn't done yet from the looks of it. Massive wicket for Dubai!
8.1 Aryan Lakra to Nasir Faraz, CASTLED! Quick length delivery outside-off, Nasir goes back to cut but he misses as the ball slides on to strike the off-stump. Is this too late in the game for Dubai?
