Quinton de Kock | Durban Super Giants captain: Quite happy about that result. We felt pretty comfortable because anything can happen on this pitch. Morgan and Vilas batted really well. That was a big turning point for us [Morgan's run-out].

Henrich Klaasen | Player of the Match: We needed to back our batters and we did that well. It is the first time in a while I have done in Durban [on his fifty]. Credit must go to Dwaine, he knows my game, kept me calm and gave me the right options that I pulled off.

David Miller | Paarl Royals captain: We thought it was going to be bit slow, but it wasn't to be the case, but chasing 217 things have to go your way from the start, we were under the pressure in the powerplay but Morgs and Vilas showed us that partnership is really key in this format, just a big target but unfortunately lost couple of wickets up front. I just though we missed executing our plans, we were a bit off with the ball, just couldn't put the breaks on the run flow, the boundaries were flowing with ease and Klassy went absolutely berserk in the end, credit to them, they put us under pressure and we will try to bounce back in the next game. We were still up for the fight, the wicket was still a very good one but the momentum swung in their favour in the end. Credit to Morgs and Vilas, took the fight till the end, something that we need to learn and move on.

Good win for DSG despite Eoin Morgan and Dane Vilas trying their best with a 114-run stand for the 5th wicket but it was a target too far in the end.

After slipping to 63/4 with all the big guns gone, Morgan struggled for a while before he found his six-hitting range and suddenly Paarl thought they had a chance.

Vilas at the other end did not strike the boundaries but kept the scoreboard moving and the partnership ended when Morgan was run-out, that was the point the game was won for DSG.

Reece Topley and Dwaine Pretorius shared 5 wickets and were impressive. Also just the 4 overs for Mayers, Maharaj and Subrayen combined together which was a suprise.
