What an unbelievable game of cricket this has been! It went right down to the final ball of the innings with the Warriors just having one wicket in hand and still needing another 6 to win. In the end Thamiz A R held on to his nerves and clinched the deal for the Eagles.

The Warriors struggled earlier on in the innings as most of their batters fell cheaply in the powerplay! They lost half their side by the fifth over and they looked dead and buried at that stage. However it was from there that Selvam M and Thamiz G began a fightback. Selvam M went hell for leather and he was the real hero for the Warriors. As long as he was there , his side had a chance. However his dismissal of the final ball of the penultimate over meant that his side were out of the game.

The Eagles bowlers were on the money for the greater part of the innings and they did a fabulous job in curtailing the Warriors down! They did look under pressure for a while when Selvam was hitting those big shots , but with 103 on the board , they were always in sight of a win! In the end, it was Thamiz AR who held his nerve in the final over and delivered three excellent dot balls in the end , to get them the win.
