Edex Knights 70/0 in 5 overs Samuel Stanislaus 43*(19) Basil George 26*(13)
5 overs is all it has taken the Knights to knock off these 68 runs and this has been a really emphatic win for them. They've done it with 29 balls to spare and 10 wickets in hand and in the process they've given a massive boost to their net run rate.
It was never going to be enough for two openers of the class of Stanislaus and George and they went about business as usual. Stanislaus was the aggressor as he piled on 43 runs while George played second fiddle in the 70 run opening stand as he scored 26 unbeaten runs. In the end, these batters barely broke any sweat to get home.
The Overseas bowlers were no match for two quality batters and there was only one wicket taking opportunity of the bowling of David Marks. He was the pick of the bowlers and gave only 13 runs from his two overs for which the game lasted till the fifth over. The rest of the two bowlers were all taken to the cleaners.
5.1 Vincent Cost to Samuel Stanislaus, SIX! Stanislaus finishes it off in style. On a length around the middle stump, swing through the line, makes good enough connection and the ball goes sailing well over the long on fence.
Vincent Cost, right arm medium, comes into the attack.
Adil Nazir wasn't on the money and Basil George got stuck into him. He whacked him for a couple of big sixes to collect 17 runs from that over. Just 4 runs needed to win for the Knights now.

4.1 Adil Nazir to Basil George, short of a length delivery from Nazir, another brilliant pull shot but this time the square leg fielder keeps it to a single.
4.1 Adil Nazir to Basil George, SIX! No ball, What a shot this from Basil George. A full toss well over the waist, George swings it away and clobbers that well over the deep square leg fence. That was absolutely nailed, never easy to hit those high full tosses.
Adil Nazir, right arm medium, comes into the attack.
Three consecutive dot balls from Marks to cap off what has been a really good spell. He gave away just 13 runs from his two overs but the Knights are firmly in the drivers seat.
