DUBAI BEAT EMIRATES RED BY 10 RUNS!
Ammar Badami 34(16) | Raunak Vaswani (2-0-10-3) Clinton Berkenshaw 29(16) | Adhithya Shetty (2-0-7-4) After an enthralling first innings, that was mainly permeated by a one man show in Ammar Badami's heroics with the bat and also in the field, it was Raunak Vaswani who stole the limelight with a scintillating performance with the ball, displaying his diversity as a bowler, by bowling 2 overs in different stages of the game.
In the second innigns, the batting didn't really fire and there was one man who was the central factor of disruption behind all the havoc wreaked- Adhithya Shetty: who had a terrific game, picking up 4 wickets, yes in a T10, only conceding 3.5 an over and displaying some wonderful variants and changes of pace, versus both handed batters.
The gamble of playing Danny Pawson up the order, to provide the left hander up top backfired, with him departing for a golden duck, pulling one straight to short mid wicket, Though he didn't have a fantastic game today, special praise reserved for Wasim Akram who got them off to flier, and without whom the momentum wouldn't have taken off.
Clinton Berkenshaw played a fighting knock of 29 off 16 deliveries, almost getting his side to cross the boundary rope with 2 points in their kitty, but again like, Badami for Dubai, they lacked that one batter in the middle who could provide stability and hang around with each of them.
Overall, it was a riveting game of cricket, and the better team today won- which was Dubai!

9.6 Ayman Ahamed to Usama Parkar, Dubai win by 10 runs! It was fuller and at the stumps. Usama tried a fancy ramp shot but missed it completely. It will be a dot ball to end the innings and Emirates Red end with 87/6 in 10 overs.
9.5 Ayman Ahamed to Clint Berkenshaw, fuller and wide outside the off stump. Berkenshaw can't get it away and that should be the end of Emirates Red's chances.
9.4 Ayman Ahamed to Clint Berkenshaw, SIX! This game is still alive! It was the length ball and Berkenshaw was sitting deep in the crease. He hits it on the up, over long off for a MAXIMUM.
9.3 Ayman Ahamed to Clint Berkenshaw, FOUR! In the slot and Berkenshaw throws his hands at it. He hits it over extra cover for a boundary. Emirates Red need 18 from 3 balls.
9.2 Ayman Ahamed to Usama Parkar, low full toss and Usama can only hit it down to long on for a single.
9.2 Ayman Ahamed to Usama Parkar, WIDE! Down the leg side.
9.1 Ayman Ahamed to Clint Berkenshaw, right into the block hole on middle stump and Berkenshaw drills it down the ground to long on.
If the Reds go on to win the match, it will essay the classic phrase, "catches win matches"! Both the batters exploiting the field and playing with the bowler's mind here...Initially Yug Sharma had to bowl more towards the stumps and angle it inwards, but in between it was seen that Panoly changed his men deep at the leg side to the off side, redirecting the bowler's plans, which anyways panned out his way. Still haven't seen any provisional variations from any of the bowlers, barring Adithya Shetty, who I once again reiterate was superb today!

8.6 Yug Sharma to Usama Parkar, fuller and shaping away from the right hander. Parkar swings hard and misses. Dot ball.
8.5 Yug Sharma to Clint Berkenshaw, low full toss and outside off stump. Berkenshaw smashed it to extra cover but the fielder did well to cut it off. Single taken.
8.4 Yug Sharma to Clint Berkenshaw, FOUR! It was bowled wide outside the off stump and Berkenshaw slices it over cover point and finds the boundary.
8.3 Yug Sharma to Usama Parkar, fuller and wide outside the off stump. Parkar hits it down to mid off for a single.
8.2 Yug Sharma to Usama Parkar, SIX! HUGE! It was in the slot and on the pads. Usama flicked it over deep mid wicket for a MAXIMUM. 31 needed from 10 balls now.
8.1 Yug Sharma to Clint Berkenshaw, In the air and DROPPED! It was bowled full and at the stumps. Berkenshaw went straight through the line of the ball and holed out in the deep.
8.1 Yug Sharma to Clint Berkenshaw, WIDE! Outside the line of off stump.
Wasim Akram has all the qualities, but I don't see a reason why he had to repeatedly bump a batter, especially a tail ender, making it all the more possible to miscue it on its way to the boundary, with fine-leg inside the circle. Even if the batter has stepped down, instead of going short and propelling the chances of the batter catching that edge, the wider yorker would any day be the more feasible option. Another very observable factor was the fact that, he didn't resort to a single slower one or yorker, which he has the needed skill to nail. Bewildering bowling tactics here!
