Commentary

Losing the first three and winning the next three take a lot of belief and determination within the camp, so credit should be given to Heather Knight & co for bouncing back superbly. They hardly broke a sweat today and a win against Bangladesh on Sunday would book their place in the final four.

Heather Knight: Complete performance and really pleased with the win. Katherine had a tough tournament so far but it's good to see her coming out on top. She has put a bit of work in her action to make sure everything is right. It's only a matter of time a player like her rose to the occasion and come back to form. Diana bowled outstandingly and it was really hard to play her at the start. We have a big game against Bangladesh on Sunday and hopefully we get the job done, and also our run rate will be enough to get us through to the next round

Bismah Maroof: I think two run-outs at the top made the difference. If we could've batted more and played 50 overs it would've been good. I think our bowers are our strength, we can back our bowlers to take wickets against any team. That's why we bowled first. I think our batting approach has to be changed. We have hitters who can make a difference but it's about taking the right decisions at the right time. Diana was brilliant and was a standout in these conditions.

It was a commanding performance from England as they steamrolled Bangladesh and get their third win in this World Cup. The damage was done by Katherine Brunt and Sophie Ecclestone in the bowling department, and the duo made things easy for the batsmen to chase this paltry score.

With some high-quality swing bowling, Diana Baig plagued the England openers at the start and removed Tammy Beaumont cheaply in the fifth over. Danielle Wyatt was dropped by Nida Dar early on and Pakistan instantly paid the price. She took on the bowlers and scored some beautiful boundaries and brought up her first World Cup half-century. Since there weren't enough runs on the board, it's difficult for the Pakistan bowlers to apply any pressure in the middle Wyatt's batting masterclass was on full display and it helped England to seal the deal comfortably

We trained well in these conditions. We saw the wicket was a green one, much like back home. So, it was a good toss to win. The ball did a bit early on, and we made the most of it. (On her knock) It was quite a sensible innings. We wanted to capitalize on any width, go hard and go big. I just wanted to get over the line today and get some runs under the belt.

Danielle Wyatt finishes things off in style and England keep their semi-finals hopes alive. Wyatt stepped in and played a brilliant innings in the pitch that the whole Pakistan batting struggled to get going.
