England XI won the match by 72 runs

A convincing win for England XI. They had an off game earlier in the day after they were beaten by Italy and now they have outbatted, outbowled and even fielded better than their counterparts. A huge win for them as their NRR boosts and they stay firmly on top of the table.

The Czech Republic started off on the right note. Their openers, Sharan Ramakrishnan and Arun Ashokan were dismissed cheaply in the powerplay. Sabawoon Davizi and Sudesh Wickramasekara tried to take control of the things in the middle as the duo went after the England XI bowling and put together 45 runs for the 3rd wicket. Both of them then perished in a space of 3 deliveries and post their wickets, Czech Republic batters couldn't score runs as they lost wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 93 runs.

It was an excellent bowling effort from the England XI bowlers as they bundled out the Czech batting lineup and sit tight on the top of the table. Barring Euan Woods and Arthur Godsal, every bowler in the bowling attack picked up a wicket. Rich Edward, Andy Rishton and Sam Pearce picked up 2 wickets each while Alex Russell and Zaman Akther returned with a wicket next to their name. The fielding unit took some good catches and also effected a superb run out to pick the final wicket of the game.
