Thank you for joining us- Mohul Bhowmick and Maanas Upadhyay- for this exciting yet one-sided game in the ECS. We hope you enjoyed Amdocs' performance as we did. Don't forget to tune in for the next game in this competition, about to start in about 45 minutes' time. Until then, ciao!
As was expected, this game proved to be rather one-sided and in favour of Amdocs CC. They chased this lowly total set by Everest in a canter, and made sure that no wickets fell either. This will boost their confidence going further into the competition.
This was a rather hearty performance showcased by them in the first game that they took part in this tournament, and will be proud of the way their players showed up. While the likes of Hitesh Thadani, Avinash Rane and Varun Khanduri turned up with the ball in hand, Gaurav Sagwan and Preetej Deol made sure that no other batters were needed for the chase.
For Everest, however, this was another loss, and they will be unhappy with the way they performed. Their skipper Bimal Ranabhat will be hoping for some leeway from the schedulers, who made them toil very hard so far in this competition. They will also be looking to take a short break from cricket and regroup.
6.2 Bhimsen Basnet to Gaurav Sagwan, short of a length ball on the off stump line, Sagwan opens the face of the bat and glides that into the off side for a quick single. And that will do it for Amdocs!
6.1 Bhimsen Basnet to Gaurav Sagwan, FOUR! SHOT! Short of a length and outside off, Sagwan camps on the back-foot, waits for the ball to arrive and slashes that over the backward point region to collect a boundary. Brings up his half-century with that as well!
Bhimsen Basnet, right arm medium, is the new bowler.
Sagwan has been phenomenal for Amdocs today. He has given nothing to Everest at all and made sure that he punished even the poor deliveries bowled by them out of the park.

5.6 Sahil Akthar to Preetaj Deol, full and on the middle stump line, Deol attempts the hoick into the leg side but ends up edging that onto his own pads. No run!
5.5 Sahil Akthar to Preetaj Deol, FOUR! EDGED! Full and on the middle stump line, Deol looks to drive it but gets a little inside edge. The ball evades the keeper and runs away to the fine leg fence! Unlucky for Everest there!
5.4 Sahil Akthar to Gaurav Sagwan, full and on the middle stump line, Sagwan charges down the track and carves that towards deep point for a single.
5.3 Sahil Akthar to Preetaj Deol, full and on the middle stump line, Deol takes a couple of steps down the track and chips that down to long on for a single.
5.2 Sahil Akthar to Preetaj Deol, back of a length ball on the off stump line, Deol rocks back and looks to cut it away but misses completely.
5.1 Sahil Akthar to Preetaj Deol, back of a length ball on the off stump line, Deol pushes that out defensively towards mid off.
Sahil Akthar, right arm medium, is the new bowler.
It appears that Sagwan and Deol will make short work of the total set by Everest here. They have not been challenged at all so far.
