Commentary

What drama at the backend of the game!! 33 off the last over to defend and least would we have expected Juno to give away 27 runs off it. Might as well call this a lucky escape for Viktoria in the end, winning the game by 5 runs, which should have been won by a better margin so to say. Nonetheless, a win is still a win, as they make it three in a row now.

They were exceptional with the ball, keeping it tight right throughout and it didn't look like the Lions were going to run away with the game at any stage, only until that final over that provided some drama. Their top or middle order batsmen could simply not get going as they failed to find the fence regularly, or should we Viktoria were too good with the ball!

Ehsan Latif was phenomenal, not only picking up three wickets but giving away just a mere four runs in his two overs! Can it get any better than that? Zahid Mahmood, Harsha Gopireddy and Juno amongst the wickets as well. A good combined effort with the ball and in the field as well.

Completing a double over the Lions then as Viktoria seem to be picking up nicely here. This will only boost their confidence going further into the tournament. As for the Lions, they can happy of one thing, that final over which will save their net run-rate a bit. Should they have sent AB further up? They did a miss a trick or two in that batting order which they will have to figure out.

Well well, the Lions actually getting quite closer than where they looked to be getting at one stage. What an over this has turned out be. Had they managed to get a few runs earlier, they might as well have won this game. What entertainment and Viktoria would have had their hearts in their mouths for a moment there. 27 runs off the Juno over, luckily he's defended the 33 as Viktoria rightfully win the game. Quite a dramatic finish this!
