A one-sided affair in the end which USGC won comfortably by a big margin of 49 runs. After setting up a target of 129 runs, USGC bowlers delivered the goods to curb VIK to a paltry score of 79/8.

Zamir Haider and Waleed Aslam made amends and built a platform for the chase despite losing Kumar Laxmandas on the first ball of the run-chase due to a runout. However, after the duo's dismissal, no other batter could get going as VIK failed to form a partnership in the middle.

For USGC, Sangeeth Udayan was the pick of the bowlers for his double whammy while Amrit Pal also contributed with an extremely economical spell and two wickets.

With the win, USGC open their account with two points while VIK will have to wait to put their first points on the board.
