Fighters CC have won with one ball to spare in the end and the game went a lot closer than it should have. The Werewolves fought back really hard and almost managed to pull off a miracle but they had conceded far too many runs at the beginning of the innings and 113 wasn't the best of totals to defend.

The opening partnership stole the show for the Fighters CC as the two openers Virk and Rahul put on 87 runs for the first wicket. While Rahul played second fiddle, Virk went all guns blazing in the powerplay and scored a well compiled 50 in just 25 balls. They lost a couple of wickets in the middle and it required Parminder Singh to come towards the end and play a blitzkrieg cameo of 21 runs from just 7 balls.

The bowlers struggled to get a breakthrough for the greater part of the innings but it was Kashi Ram who cracked the game wide open with his spell where he got two wickets. Rohit Singh was fantastic in the powerplay too as he gave away only 13 runs from his two openers. Gurpreet Singh picked up a wicket but he was far too expensive towards the end.
