Commentary

Germany beats Hungary by 5 wickets!

It has been a professional performance from Germany with the bat! Although 95 isn't much of a score in T10 cricket, it is a tricky total. It did seem like a tricky total when Amjad Sher got the better of Abdul Shakoor early on but that only brought Rohit Singh to the middle, who had other ideas for the Finland bowlers.

After seeing out the first few overs, Rohit teed off with a 26-ball 58, which included as many as ten boundaries. He took on Amjad Sher and hit him for four boundaries in an over, which ultimately sealed a German win. He was well complemented by Mohammad Yasub, who scored 20 off 17 balls. The Germans were hit back with a few setbacks with Paul Gallagher picking a few wickets in the ninth over but it was too late for them as Finn Sadarangani saw the Germans through to a comfortable win in the end.

That is it for Finland, who will be departing from the ECC with a heap of memories and experience to build on in the near future. As for Germany, they will be looking forward to the knockouts tomorrow. This brings us to the end of another cracking game of ECC cricket at the Cartama Oval.
