It was an excellent game between these two sides and in the end, Italy emerged triumphant over Finland. The visitors didn't have an excellent powerplay as they lost two wickets early and ended up scoring 20 runs less than what Italy did in their first 3 overs. That came back to bite them as a herculean effort with the bat from Faheem Nellacheri and Amjad Sher fell short of what could have been a come-from-behind victory.

Italy bowled well and were spot on with the way they executed their bowling plans. Amir Sharif and Jagmeet Singh picked up two wickets each while Ali Raza Islam and Madupa Fernando picked up a wicket each to pile up the pressure on the Finnish batters.
