It turned out be a solid all round performance from France as they thrashed Luxembourg by 67 runs to win the 3rd match of the competition. Despite a good start from the openers, Luxembourg lost their way after their departure and could never really recover from that.

They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and was eventually bowled out in the final over. Asgar Ali and Vivek Dixit came out with a positive frame of mind and raced away to 41 in the powerplay. It was powerful hitting by the duo and they were up with the required rate.

It looked we were in for a close match Noman Amjad took the wicket of Vivek to break open the game. Ali also followed suit and from there on it was a downward slide for Lux. Jatin Madan, Kamal Soukhiya and Edmund Packard departed without bothering the scorers much.

There was no competition left in them and was ultimately resigned to their defeat. None of the batters could get to double digit barring the openers. Rahmatullah Mangal was excpetional with the ball and was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with figures of 3/13.
