An excellent bowling performance from France gets them their first win of the series as they defend a vey low total. A limping Ahmadzai bowled his heart out and got 3 big wickets to break Malta's backbone. Amjad takes 2 wickets, Mangal and Ahmad get one each and also the maximum runs given away by a baller is just 16 from his 2 overs.
Poor from Malta, as this was their match to win, just 3 boundaries and 2 sixes scored in the innings as they could not chase this low total down. They never looked like they were moving towards this total, Patankar, Prasath and Bilal Khan tried but failed to get going as they lose by a huge margin which can cause trouble with the NRR in the end.

9.6 Rahmatullah Mangal to Amar Sharma, right up in the blockhole, Sharma digs this one towards the off-side and collects a run. France are triumphant for the very first time in the European Cricket Championship, they stay alive in this year's ECC by virtue of their 31-run win against Malta!
9.5 Rahmatullah Mangal to Amar Sharma, how did that miss off-stump! The swing ensured the ball missed it, Sharma was swinging at it on another postcode altogether!
9.4 Rahmatullah Mangal to Justin Shaju, full delivery on off-stump, drilled away towards deep cover for a single
9.3 Rahmatullah Mangal to Justin Shaju, another full delivery that swings away, Shaju has another swing at it and makes zero contact
9.2 Rahmatullah Mangal to Justin Shaju, full delivery, Shaju swings and misses by a long way!
Justin Shaju comes to the crease.
9.1 Rahmatullah Mangal to Bilal Khan, OUT, caught! Bilal got all of this length delivery that sat up, but ended up smashing it straight down the throat of the man at wide long on! Bilal Khan c Noman Amjad b Rahmatullah Mangal 12 (10)
Amar Sharma comes to the crease.
Surely over for Malta now as they need atleast 5 sixes and a four to win this in the last over. Well bowled by Noman as he gets 2 wickets and give away just 3 runs.

8.2 Noman Amjad to Samuel Stanislaus, OUT, CAUGHT! This was short and rushed onto the batter, who went for the pull and miscued it. The fielder at deep mid-wicket settled himself under it and completed the catch! He then threw the ball up, and ended up pinging the batter on the helmet! Samuel Stanislaus c Zain Ahmad b Noman Amjad 7 (11)
8.1 Noman Amjad to Bilal Khan, drilled down towards mid-on, just the single in the end
50 up at the end of 8 overs as they get a maximum from this one. Another catch dropped in this match. Can Malta score 37 off the last 2 overs.
