Right then, Punjab CC have pulled off a pleasing effort with the ball to restrict Friendship CC in this contest. Friendship CC were scratchy in this chase right from the start and could not quite set the tone or get going. Eventually, they fell well short and the batting did not look to be in a good flow either.

They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and failed to build a partnership. That is something that Punjab CC did well throughout, taking wickets, keeping the pressure on and not allowing the batters to come back in the game at any point. It was a collective effort with the ball from Punjab CC and they will be happy with this performance.

Friendship CC, on the other hand, will have some work to do with their batting. None of the batters could get going or stay out there in the middle for long. That is something that they will have to work on going into the knockout stages of the tournament!

Good finish from Parveen Singh and Friendship CC certainly failed to get themselves going in the chase. Punjab CC have pulled off a good effort with the ball to defend this target, winning by 22 runs in the end
