Commentary

Fujairah, have created history here! Their first ever win of the tournament and the players are celebrating by all means! What an amazing tournament they have had after being undefeated in the entire tournament! This is surely a win they deserve. The innings started off with some really big hitting from the batters and then there was no looking back for them as the top order outplayed the bowlers here. Hamdan's innings proved to be a match winning one and his innings have got them to life the trophy here along with Waseem Muhammad, Asif Khan and Usman Khan. It was Anwar and Rehman who took a wicket each but fell short as they were unable to seal the victory for Sharjah. The team will go and have a gala time in the dug out and create some happy memories for years to remember. Fujairah are D10 Champions!

Usman Khan: I am thankful for God. There was no pressure. The captain said to play freely. We had lost three finals but the captain had asked to chill, like how we had chilled in the previous 10 games.

Mohammed Wasim: I am grateful for God. The moment I met my team I was sure that we will win the tournament. We had lost the previous three finals. But this time I was sure of winning the tournament. Out bowlers and out batters have performed well. Everyone performed as he was asked. Hamdan and Mahroof are two youngsters from my team who could perform well for the UAE team.
