(On the win) Exactly, we are very delighted, we were close in the last match and yet so far, very happy to get the job done this time around, batsmen chased really well, with Moores and Bopara, they are experienced and class players and bowlers did a magnificent job at the start as well.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Galle Gladiators captain: Not really, we were 10-15 short with our total, Scoring 130 is not good enough on this pitch especially when you are batting first on this kind of wicket. (On so many extras) I would call it a mistake as we need to control our line and lengths, (On team combination) Hafeez was not there, proper combination was required so we picked the best we could and we would look forward to , we will win it next time around.

Ravi Bopara (Player of the match): A tough wicket to bat one, it's a dry day and with a low score, it will be tough. The plan was sent, we had to get 128 even if it took 20 overs as we had to get those two points today. I knew if we hit boundaries it would stay hit. Coming from T10 this has been a good change as it gets a batter working.

Those are the winning runs from Ravi Bopara! Finishes off in style as there was no need to check the boundary on the ropes as only a solitary run was required to win. But the heart of the chase lied in the Moores-Bopara partnership. The start was not ideal as they lost a flurry of wickets in the Powerplay with Samit Patel striking one in the middle and being economical in the rest. He finished with figures of 2-20 in his 4 overs.

Amir and Lakshan were good in their 3 overs each as what would hurt them badly is the number of wides the bowling unit conceded. A total of 18 wides in such a low scoring encounter!
