It's celebration time for the Zurich Nomads as they fought an epic battle against a much fancied Geneva and ended up beating them by 24 runs. Idrees Haque and Numan Ahmadzai started off with a couple of lusty blows but couldn't quite continue the good work and were dismissed for cheaply. Answe Mehmood kept them in the chase with a fine knock as wickets kept tumbling at the other end. Ikram Allah was the pick of the bowlers as he destroyed the middle order bagging 3 wickets.

They were literally down and out when Afif Khattak was dismissed. Staring down the barrel at 37/7, Anser Mehmood was joined by Abdullrahimzai and the duo changed the complexion of the game with a sensational partnership. Rahimzai in particular looked in ominous touch and smashed four lusty blows, giving good support to Anser and also smashing the much-needed boundaries.

With 30 required off the last 2 overs, the introduction of Tharanitharan Thanabalasingham turned the match on its head. He took a wicket, conceding just a couple of runs in the penultimate over and eventually the score proved to be way too much with Zurich Nomads winning by 24 runs.
