As ruthless as performances come in this tournament. Maharashtra roared through after a terrific batting performance from Yash Nahar, who registered a memorable century in the final league game of the season. Posting a target of 178 runs was a job well done from Maharashtra and they defended that without breaking a sweat. While Nahar carried the burden of the run-scoring for Maharashtra, the wicket-taking options on bowling front conjured up to deliver a team effort. Bachhav, Kazi, Palkar, Choudary and Himganekar, all got amongst the wickets to derail Goa was a paltry 104.
That will be that then! Wagh is the last one to fall. Maharashtra complete a dominating victory to march onto the next round of the tournament. Handshakes all around as the two teams complete the formalities.
