Goa almost played the perfect game before hitting themselves on the foot with an ax. They put up a really good score after struggling in the first few overs and started the defense well by getting Gohel early. Desai did play a blinder but the Goans failed to attack Vyas at the other end when he was struggling to even rotate the strike.
Harvik holed out to that pressure and Saurashtra sent Kotak to take on the bowlers and counter-attack but he failed as well. Goa then got lucky with a clear six that was given out to send Jadeja back. Still, they let the singles come on easily for Sheldon Jackson who didn't time much well today.
The bowling side fluffed the changes -- Lakshay Garg conceded just seven runs in his first two overs but didn't complete his quota -- and gave Saurashtra chance after chance to play through the pressure. Chirag Jani came out with a nothing-to-lose attitude and made them pay the price with his two sixes, both timed perfectly!

19.6 Lakshay Garg to Chirag Jani, SIX! JANI KNOCKS GOA OUT OF THE COMPETITION WHO ONLY HAVE THEMSELVES TO BLAME! Full toss outside the off-stump, Jani simply hits hit through the line over the empty long off region!
19.5 Lakshay Garg to Sheldon Jackson, OH NO!!!!!!!!!! Full and outside the off-stump, Jackson drives it straight to the covers fielder and hurries to the other end but the fielder is so eager to throw that he doesn't grab it cleanly. Shouts of ARAY YAAR around the ground! Scores level!
Fine leg goes back, mid-wicket comes up. Short ball coming?
19.4 Lakshay Garg to Chirag Jani, full and wide outside the off-stump, drilled to long off for one. TWO OFF TWO needed now.
19.3 Lakshay Garg to Chirag Jani, SIX!!!!!!! Misses the yorker onto the stumps, Jani thumps the half-volley over mid-wicket! Three needed of three now!
19.2 Lakshay Garg to Sheldon Jackson, brilliant yorker! Jackson drills it back to the bowler's feet and it diverted to the covers region. Garg ran and slid and his leg seems to have got stuck for a bit. The physio is out there and after a couple of minutes, he's ready.
19.1 Lakshay Garg to Chirag Jani, full and onto the stumps, flicked to deep mid-wicket for one
11 to win off six balls... Lakshay will bowl it!

18.6 Shubham Tari to Chirag Jani, good length ball on the middle, flicks it to mid-wicket for a single
Chirag Jani, RHB, comes to the crease
18.5 Shubham Tari to Jay Gohil, CLEANS HIM UP WITH A BEAUTY! Dipping slower one on the middle, Gohil steps forward and goes for the flick but is very early on it and only sees his stumps clattered
18.4 Shubham Tari to Sheldon Jackson, one run
18.3 Shubham Tari to Jay Gohil, full and onto the stumps, Gohil just about gets his bat down in time to take a single
Jay Gohil, RHB, comes to the crease
18.2 Shubham Tari to Vishwaraj Jadeja, IS THAT TAKEN? IF IT IS THEN IT'S A SUPERB TAG-TEAM CATCH? No it's a six! Oh wait why is Jadeja walking back?? This is unbelievable. Jadeja flicked it over deep mid-wicket. The fielder there caught it but stepped onto the boundary ropes before throwing it to his nearby fielder and the replays showed that clearly. Still he was asked to go!
18.1 Shubham Tari to Vishwaraj Jadeja, OH! Slower one on the middle, the ball bounces a bit more too, and Jadeja gets all surprised and misses it
