Commentary

Right then, what a brilliant game to get the week going! Bonn Blue Stars were cruising at the half-way mark in this chase. They had the runs on the board and wickets in hand after their openers got them off to a solid start in the powerplay. Until the final three overs, they were in control and should certainly have finished this game. A disappointing end and to remind you all, the five penalty runs have clearly cost them the game looking at the margin of defeat here.

Golden Stars will be delighted with the way they have bowled under pressure. They went for plenty in the powerplay but kept on fighting, picking up a few wickets and bowling those tidy overs at the backend which built pressure on the batters. They were the side that handled pressure better in a game which was pretty much evenly contested with both the bat and the ball.

A fine start and this has only set the tone for the games coming up. The action certainly promises to get bigger and better and you surely do not want to miss out. This has been Raghav and myself (Rishab) as we take your leave for the moment. Do stay tuned to catch everything coming up and more!

Paritosh looked like he was bowling a fine penultimate over, starting off well. However, he's not been able to keep it consistently tight, an opportunity gone down as well and this may certainly cost the bowling side. Into the final over of this contest the and Bonn Blue Stars need 10 runs to win!

A couple of good overs from Golden Stars here and they are fighting in this game, not letting the Blue Stars have it easy. A couple of wickets picked up by Hassnain as well and this has turned out to be an excellent over in fact. This game is alive and probably going down the wire alright.
