Fighters CC needed a good start to stay afloat in this run chase. They scored 32 in the power play and somewhat did justice to it but after that, things simply went downhill for them!

Although they did not get bowled out, Fighters CC could not get to 100 even. The highest score of the innings was 19 and the second highest was Varinder Virk's 16 and the extras! A better effort was expected of this batting unit, but they did have the fight left in them in the end to pull off a surprise.

Apart from a few lapses in the field, Gorkha XI were impressive with the ball. Suman Ghimire was in action in this innings as well, taking two wickets and a fine catch in the deep! Other than skipper Madhukar Thapa, all the other bowlers were among the wickets.

A bittersweet feeling for Gorkha XI, but they will feel slightly better to have the 3rd position against their name. Now, it's about the grand finale! Malo will take on Oeiras in the last match of what has been a fine tournament.
