The intensity of the run chase was just not there from Gozo. They lost a total of 3 wickets, and yet, none of their top-order batters were keen on taking risks. Four boundaries were all they could manage in their 10 overs. Josemon Paulson and Maneesh Martin departed early on, Senthil Raj and Sandeep Sasikumar played at a strike rate of under a 100 for the best part of their innings, Sasikumar remaining unbeaten until the end but at the cost of nothing. The bowling figures for the Marsa bowlers look economical due to the same. Hopefully, we'll see a closer game when the two sides go up against each other again in a few minutes' time.
