Match summary:
Mitry win by 5 wickets with 9 balls to spare
Mustafa Omer 46(17) | Muhammad Qasim 2/14 (2) Dhulipala Chowdhry 51(22) | Thivain Menikbowe 3/23 (2)
They took the game late, but Mitry get the job done eventually. There was quite a lot of help from the Vipers bowlers in between in terms of sundries, and with an over and a half remaining, Mitry were over the line, and in some style at that - Zafar pumped one in the slot over mid wicket to seal the deal. The Vipers bowlers chipped away on the wickets' column, but that didn't faze their opponents one bit.
The opening partnership between Arslan Zafar and Mustafa Omer set the tone for Mitry. While Zafar was the one who set the ball rolling, Mustafa Omer took his time to get used to proceedings, got going against the slower bowlers, and from then on, there seemed no stopping him. The opening duo played an integral part in bringing the equation closer to a run-a-ball, and while Mitry lost a few wickets, their middle order had things covered.
8.4 Hamidoullah Daulatzai to Hasnain Zafar, SMASHED FOR SIX!!! In the slot and Zafar was ready for it since yesterday it seems. He clears his front leg and that allows the bat swing to come through. Over wide long on for a maximum. Mitry secure the win.
8.3 Hamidoullah Daulatzai to Hasnain Zafar, wide down the leg side. The keeper pounces like a tiger to save that one from going to the fence.
8.2 Hamidoullah Daulatzai to Muhammad Qasim, hit down to orthodox deep midwicket for one.
8.1 Hamidoullah Daulatzai to Muhammad Qasim, slower ball. Batter misses, so does the keeper. IT HITS THE UNWORN HELMET BEHIND THE GLOVEMAN!! 5 penalty runs.
Hamidoullah Daulatzai (1-0-21-0) is back into the attack
Not for once have the Mitry batters let the fall of wickets faze them thus far! 13 needed at just over a run-a-ball, game might end the next over itself...

7.1 Thivain Menikbowe to Hussain Yasir, CAUGHT IN THE DEEP!!! Yasir went inside out but couldn't get enough on this. Taken in the deep and he will have to go back in the hut.
Hussain Yasir c Samiullah Mehri b Thivain Menikbowe 15 (6b 2x4 1x6)
Right then - 27 needed off the last three. Advantage Mitry, you'd feel, with Yasir well and truly in now.
