Commentary

Time for TOP vs BOTTOM as the Sobisco Smashers Malda lock horns with Harbour Diamonds in the Bengal Pro T20 League. The league is fast approaching its business end and here are two teams who have had contrasting journeys in their respective campaigns set to face each other.

Sobisco Smashers Malda are not used to losing matches in this year's competition and having suffered their first defeat of the competition in their previous match at the hands of Sharchi Rarh Tigers, the table-toppers are definitely expected to bounce back. They won their first four matches before dropping one and now with just the two games left in the league stage, they would like to cement their place at the top of the table and go into the knockouts with some serious momentum on their side.

It is said that you don't want to run into a team that has nothing to lose and with 5 losses in 5 matches Harbour Diamonds certainly only have pride to play for which should make them a dangerous team. Having said that, their performances thus far do not inspire enough confidence to make you believe that they can topple over the table toppers. Whether they manage to do it or not, only time will tell. They can certainly draw some inspiration from the Sharchi Rarh Tigers who have been the only team to get the better of the Smashers so far.
