That's all for this match, folks! But the action isn't over. We have the second semi-final coming up in less than an hour (which would hopefully be a more closely-contested game) so don't forget to switch tabs and catch the live action right here at Sportskeeda! This is the pair of Rudransh and Soorya signing off. See ya!
Manish Pandey (Hubli Tigers captain): (The team can't put a foot wrong) Touchwood. Before the game started I told the boys whatever has happened has happened. Everyone was very pumped for today and we're really happy with how we turned up. We've prepared really well - some of the boys went to the nets even after playing 10 games. The coaches sat together (before the season) and the first thing we spoke about was role clarity and most of the boys have responded really well. One or two odd games in the middle but it happens. We kept speaking about reducing the mistakes. We've batted (first) a few times this tournament but what we've done is bowl first to reach where we are this tournament. Nothing will change if we bat or bowl first tomorrow, the boys have been doing well.
Mohammed Taha is the Player of the Match for his outstanding 38-ball 69!
ALL OVER! The Hubli Tigers have smashed their way into the finals! A rollicking eight-wicket win with six overs to spare!
Mohammed Taha 69 (38) | Manvanth Kumar L (2/29) Rohan Kadam 54 (44) | Vasuki Koushik (1/17)
As easy as it gets for the Tigers. They looked unstoppable already and now have the momentum of a massive win in the semi-final. Just too good. 150 was 40 runs short of a win-able total on this pitch which had a bit of slow turn, some early swing but nothing else for the bowlers.
Impact player Sisodia played like he always does. Skipper Shreyas Gopal, curiously took the first over on his shoulders but got smacked for 19 and didn't bowl again in the match. Sisodia's crunch timing led to his fall in the next over as he fell to Koushik's simple plan of bowling on his pads and making him to hit straight to square leg.
After that it was all Taha and Shrijith. The former was in his zone again today and made life so difficult for the bowlers. He not only found the gaps with his unorthodox shots but also took on the deep fielders with sheer power. Gopal used pacers first and then spinner in the middle overs but no one was spared and shoulders dropped in the field.
Shrijith rotated the strike for Taha initially but started to get a few away with time as well. Taha survived a LBW call off a no ball and then fell to a slow bouncer on his body, which he tried to flat-bat straight over the bowler. Shrijith grew into the role of the aggressor after that and took on the responsibility on himself. With youngster Ashwin on the other end, he finished the game off with ease.

13.6 Pranav Bhatia to KL Shrijith, FOUR! DONE AND DUSTED IN STYLE! The Tigers roar their way into the final! Tossed up full outside the off stump. Shrijith launches it over long off by holding a still base as it just falls inches shy of the ropes. A boundary it shall be and it wraps up a display of sheer dominance - Hubli Tigers win by 8 wickets with six overs to spare! They will contest tomorrow's summit clash at this very venue!
13.5 Pranav Bhatia to KL Shrijith, SIX! Levels the scores in style! Drifts in full outside the off stump and he gets out of his bunker to get to the pitch of this delivery. Mousses it down the ground over the bowler's head as it sails over comfortably
13.4 Pranav Bhatia to Sanjay Ashwin, DROPPED! Koushik puts one down at long off! Tossed up full outside the off stump as Ashwin leans forward and lofts it inside out towards long off. Koushik charges in and puts in a dive but grasses it off his fingertips
13.3 Pranav Bhatia to KL Shrijith, turns in off a length outside the off stump. Shrijith waits and pats the ball to point for a quick run
13.2 Pranav Bhatia to KL Shrijith, back of a length delivery with width outside the off stump. Shrijith rocks back and cuts the ball to backward point, no run
13.1 Pranav Bhatia to KL Shrijith, SIX! ANOTHER FIFTY FOR SHRIJITH! Full and in the arc on middle and leg stump. Shrijith brings out a slog sweep and dumps it over the square leg fence for half-a-dozen. Sweet strike off the blade and he has turned in yet another masterclass has the southpaw!
It's telling that after the first over we haven't seen Shreyas Gopal again in this match. On the other hand, the Tigers have sent youngster Ashwin to finish things off.

12.6 Nischith Rao to Sanjay Ashwin, length delivery at the stumps. Ashwin hangs back to nudge it with soft hands to short mid-wicket
12.5 Nischith Rao to Sanjay Ashwin, full and straight at the stumps. Ashwin tucks it to mid-on, no run
12.4 Nischith Rao to KL Shrijith, slower length delivery angling across the off stump. Shrijith chops his cut off the under-edge to sweeper cover for a run
12.3 Nischith Rao to Sanjay Ashwin, low full toss tailing into leg stump. Ashwin clips it behind square on the leg-side and gets underway with a single
Sanjay Ashwin, RHB, comes to bat
Well that's one way to get him out... He likes to play tennis shots down the ground even against the short balls but that was too short and straight. He tried to play badminton and that won't work.
12.2 Nischith Rao to Mohammed Taha, GONE! What a tame end! Slower bumper shoved into the pitch around the off stump as it rises very high on Taha, who stands tall looking to swat a pull. Doesn't really go through with it and is a fraction too late on the shot too as it takes the toe-end of his bat and lobs to the left of the keeper who completes an excellent tumbling catch. End of another entertaining knock from Taha!
