That's curtains down for our coverage for this match, folks! Stick around and switch tabs for more cricketing action. For now, this is the pair of Pradeep and Rudransh taking your leave!
Sweden recovers from a light scare at the end to seal a clinical win to kick off their campaign. Hungary lose their second match of the tournament!
Despite losing Darapureddy early in the first over, Hungary reached 38/1 in the powerplay, ahead of where Sweden were in the first innings. Technically-superb Ravindran smashed the pacers and Shukla all around the park in the next three overs to keep them in the game, albeit without much support from Ahuja.
The pressure eventually got to him as he holed one out in the second over of the spin from Taqawi, who then got rid of Ahuja as well. Shukla returned in the next over and took out the two new batters, pushing Hungary to 90/5 in seven overs. The match looked done and dusted when Taqawi landed another double-blow in the ninth over but Prashar played a brilliant cameo to steal 24 runs against him.
With 26 needed off the last over against Zahid, the non-striker took a single but Prashar missed a wild swing on the second ball and helplessly saw his team crumble to a 19-run defeat.
