Independent CC enter the historybooks of ECL cricket as they record the highest successful run-chase in the tournament's history and in doing so have progressed to play the qualifier scheduled to be played later in the day. For Tallinn Stallions, well it just wasn't their day with the ball and their journey has come to an end this year.

But someone who definitely had an absolute field day was Tom Cheater. He played an exquisite knock of 110 runs off just deliveries laced with 13 maximums and 7 fours as well. If someone plays a knock like that, you are more or less going to chase down 163 and that is exactly what Independent CC did with 8 balls to spare.

Even though Nadeesha Wickramanayaka got 2 wickets and triede to keep his team in the match, Cheater was too hot to handle and eventually made the difference.

Earlier, Ghulam Abbas Butt had put on a show with the bat fro the Stallions as he scored a quick-fire 76 off 24 balls, he wouldn't have thought at that stage that his knock would be upstaged. Nadeesha Wickramanayaka got a cameo with the bat too of 39 runs and took his team too 162.

For Independent CC, Archie Fairfox got 2 wickets but Cheater made his contributions as well. He got 1 wicket giving away just 17 runs as well as took 3 catches in the outfield.
