What an absolute thriller we’ve witnessed tonight! A match filled with fireworks, twists, and a stunning comeback at the death. This is what the International Masters League is all about! That's it from this match, this is Meeth Agrawal and Pradeep signing off. But the action doesn’t stop here! Tomorrow is the big one: The Champions Trophy Final between India and New Zealand! Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for live coverage!
Yuvraj Singh (India Masters Captain): It was a show. 250 was not enough. We knew we had to take wickets because Smith and the other guys were going strong. Specially, Lendl Simmons came and scored 38 off 8 balls and we were completely out of the game at that moment but Stuart came on and got a few wickets. It changed the momentum of the game and I think we bowled really well in the last three overs. I scored 49 off 20 balls and I don't get an award so you can see the pace of the game. It was a high scoring game and it was tough to defend with the ball getting wet. Let's see what happens in the semis.
Stuart Binny (POTM): It wasn't easy conditions with the ball getting wet with the dew. I always try and prepare how I well bowl in the game. Just be confident and rely on slower ones. Dwayne's wicket was an important one. If he would have played 10 more balls, it would have changed the game. The plan was to take wickets and put the pressure on the middle order.
Brian Lara [West Indies Masters captain]: Wonderful game of cricket, the bowlers suffered today on both sides. This is what crowd came to see, almost 500 runs scored in 40 overs. We came out on the wrong side, but proud of the boys the way they played. You need to make the first six overs count, we were on the course but we kept losing wickets after that which put us under pressure. Simmons lusty blows did put us right into the game, but we fell short. We went out with the mindset to win the game, we wanted to get close and see.
[23:46 IST] India Masters won by 7 runs.
Ambati Rayudu - 63 (35) | Stuart Binny - 3/13 Dwayne Smith - 79 (34) | Sulieman Benn - 1/34
WHAT A HIGH-SCORING THRILLER IN RAIPUR! The International Masters League truly lives up to its name as these legends have put on a show for the ages. We witnessed it all—Yuvraj’s power, Ambati’s class, Saurabh Tiwary’s grace, Binny’s variations, and West Indies’ sheer hitting ability. Almost 500 runs were scored tonight, but in the end, India Masters pulled off a stunning comeback at the death.
Chasing a mammoth 254, West Indies Masters came out all guns blazing. Dwayne Smith and William Perkins got them off to a blistering 121-run opening stand in just 8.1 overs. Both batters raced to their half-centuries, tearing apart the bowling attack, with Rahul Sharma’s spell turning into a nightmare, conceding 34 runs in one over to a rampaging Lendl Simmons.
However, Pawan Negi struck twice in quick succession, dismissing Perkins and Simmons to break the momentum. Then came the game-changer - Stuart Binny. With his clever variations, he cleaned up Dwayne Smith and triggered a middle-order collapse. Suddenly, the game shifted, and India Masters’ bowlers tightened the screws with outstanding death bowling.
With 24 needed off the final over, Narsingh Deonarine and Ashley Nurse tried their best but fell short. Fans waited eagerly for Brian Lara, but he walked in only on the final delivery, needing 12 off 1. He managed a boundary, but West Indies Masters ultimately fell short by 7 runs.
Earlier in the night, India Masters put up their highest total of 253/3. Ambati Rayudu (63 off 35) and Saurabh Tiwary (60 off 37) laid the platform before Gurkeerat Singh Mann (46 off 21) and Yuvraj Singh (49 off 20) produced a spectacular finish.
With this win, India Masters retain their top spot and have already qualified for the playoffs. Meanwhile, West Indies Masters still have a chance, but they need to bounce back quickly.

19.6 Irfan Pathan to Brian Lara, FOUR! INDIA MASTERS HOLD ON TO THEIR NERVE! Lara even at his age plays a sumptuous shot and looks delightful too. Back of a length in the channel, Lara backs away and spanked it over extra-cover for a boundary to finish. India Masters just manage to sneak a win here.
19.5 Irfan Pathan to Narsingh Deonarine, OUT! STRAIGHT UP IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! That should be it for the India Masters. Short outside the off-stump, Deonarine top edged it to deep extra-cover. Gurkeerat takes a sitter.
19.4 Irfan Pathan to Narsingh Deonarine, DOT BALL! GOLD DUST! Back of a length outside the off-stump, Deonarine swings and misses. Need two sixes of the ball to seal the game!
19.3 Irfan Pathan to Ashley Nurse, length delivery outside the off-stump, Nurse doesn't get the connection needed, mistimed it to deep mid-wicket for just one.
19.2 Irfan Pathan to Ashley Nurse, FOUR! Brilliant result for the West Indies Masters, they are still in it. Back of a length outside the off-stump, Nurse walks across off-stump and pulled it to deep mid-wicket. Despairing dive from the fielder but goes in vain.
19.2 Irfan Pathan to Narsingh Deonarine, full toss into the batter, Deonarine mistimed the pull to long-on and gets just a single. Umpire thinks it's above the waist height and signals it as a no-ball!
19.2 Irfan Pathan to Narsingh Deonarine, WIDE! Full but goes outside the tramline, wide called by the umpire.
19.1 Irfan Pathan to Narsingh Deonarine, FOUR! Great shot and a great start to the over for the West Indies Masters. Back of a length on off-stump, Deonarine swatted it straight down the ground, goes one bounce into the ropes.
Irfan Pathan [3.0-0-31-0] to bowl the final over
A brilliant exhibition of wide yorkers from Abhimanyu Mithun under pressure! He keeps things tight, conceding just 8 runs in the penultimate over. West Indies Masters now need 24 off the final 6 balls. Can they pull off a last-over heist, or will India Masters close this out?
