1
Shubman Gill is a consistent player and is in excellent form and he without a doubt will be the best choice for captaincy in this game.
2
Ravindra Jadeja is in tremendous form, he played brilliantly in the previous game, he scored 45 runs and picked up 2 wickets as well. Ravindra Jadeja will look to continue his sensational form in this game as well.
3
Mohammed Siraj and Mitchell Starc are the top bowlers' picks, both of them are in exceptional form and will play an important role in this game.

Right then! Australia steamrolled India to level the series. Not many teams can do this to India at home as they were humiliated with both bat and ball. After a crushing defeat like this, it's interesting to see how they bounce back in Chennai. They have to come up with a plan to tackle Mitchell Starc and that will be their prime focus ahead of the decider as he bowled sensationally in both matches, picking up 9 wickets. The wickets in Mumbai and Vizag offered enough assistance for the express pacer to do the damage but Chepauk hasn't been friendly for the fast bowlers in the past, so we have wait and watch how he adapts to the slow conditions
This series is intriguingly poised and we will find out who will come out top in Chennai on Wednesday. Until next time, this is Pragadeesh signing off on behalf of my colleague Karthik Raj. See yaa
Mitchell Starc (Man of the Match) - I feel my rhythm has been good for a couple of weeks. We spoke something about the lengths on this wicket and also in Mumbai. My conversation is different to Green or Stoinis as I bowl different lengths compared to them. We have seen in the last two games that there is a swing and my plan is to attack the stumps and bring every form dismissal into play
Steve Smith (Australia Captain) - Yeah it was a quick one. Only 37 overs, you don't see this usually. The bowlers were outstanding. Starc in particular and the rest of the bowlers complimented well. I don't know how the wicket is going to play, how much it swings and I don't have any totals in mind. It's all about executing our plans and putting India under pressure. Looking at how Head and Mitch went after the bowlers it was great to see and pleased with the way we bounced back after the defeat. (On his brilliant one-handed catch) Thanks, Fortunate I was able to hang on to it, we all know Hardik is a wonderful player
Rohit Sharma (India captain): We didn't apply ourselves with the bat. Always knew that it wasn't enough runs on the board. It wasn't a 117 total pitch at all. We lost wickets at crucial junctures and didn't let ourselves to get more runs. Could have been a possibility for sure. After we lost Shubman early, myself and Virat got 30 runs quickly. However, after I got out, there were a couple of quick wickets. (About Mitch Starc) Quality bowler, no doubt about that. He has been doing it for years with the new ball. He bowled according to his strengths and we have to play accordingly. We were kept guessing as to whether the ball is coming in or going across. (Regarding how high he rates Mitch Marsh in terms of power) One of the top players going around when it comes to power. He backs himself to do that. Wasn't there for the first game but I saw some of the highlights. He backed himself even when wickets were falling at the other end!
The first innings should've gotten over at this time but we are done with the whole match already and getting ready for presentations
Travis Head: Yeah, It has been nice to contribute. Was really good to get a partnership going. We were a bit more settled today. Last match I went a bit hard early but it's nice to have the big fella at the other end when he hits them into the top tier.
Mitchell Marsh: Yeah, look it was a bit of fun. When you are chasing a low total like that, important to get a strong start. Was just hoping Heady can get off to a flier and I can just tick it around. (Any changes to his batting) A few, probably just to watch the ball closer when it is swinging. (Regarding Mitch Starc's bowling) I feel it is coming at 180 miles off the bat. He is the best in the world. Any time you get a chance to win a series for Australia, you get up and about!
Australia won by 10 wickets Mitchell Marsh 66(36) | Virat Kohli 31(35) Mitchell Starc 5-53(8) | Sean Abbott 3-23(6)
It's a thumping win for the Aussies as they chased the score of 118 in quick time to level the series. This is India's biggest ODI defeat in terms of balls remaining.
Firstly, how India managed to get only 117 on this track? Looking at the way, the Aussie openers batted, this could be a 350-400 track. That shows how well Mitchell Starc bowled and his five-fer set the tone for the visitors to bundle India out for a meager total. He did the damage with the ball before Marsh and Head made things bad to worse for the hosts in reply
It was expected to be an easy chase for the Aussies but no one really thought this match would finish in 11 overs. Mitchell Marsh went after the Indian pacers and smashed them all around the park. Even the good deliveries were hammered for maximums and some of them were clean and monster hits. Travis Head played a blistering knock too and smashed a half-century. We witnessed power-hitting of the highest order and eventually, the swashbuckling partnership helped Australia to chase this score in a rapid fashion

10.6 Axar Patel to Mitchell Marsh, THAT IS IT! AUSTRALIA WIN BY 10 WICKETS! Length delivery outside-off, Marsh goes deep and cuts it to the right of backward point for a boundary. What a dominant win for the visitors. They have wrapped up the match with 39 overs to go!
10.5 Axar Patel to Mitchell Marsh, short of a length outside-off, Marsh punches it to covers. No run
The scores are level
10.4 Axar Patel to Travis Head, back of a length and turning in, Head goes deep and tucks it to deep backward square-leg for a single
10.3 Axar Patel to Travis Head, back of a length and turning down leg, Head clips it behind square and gets back for the second run. This brings up his fifty off just 30 balls! Been a classy knock from Head as well even though Marsh might grab the headlines!
Shami clearly overruns it and gets himself into an awkward position
10.2 Axar Patel to Travis Head, IN THE AIR AND DROPPED! Full outside-off, Head gets down on his knee and tries to drag the slog-sweep but he skies it towards long-on. Shami runs forward and puts down the catch while the batters take two runs
10.1 Axar Patel to Travis Head, full and turning in, Head comes forward and pushes it back to the bowler. No run
Except Jadeja, Rohit Sharma has tried all his bowling options and no one can really have any answer to this onslaught. Dravid's face in the dugout says eveything

9.6 Kuldeep Yadav to Travis Head, JUST SHORT OF DEEP MID-WICKET! Short-ish googly from Kuldeep, Head looks to go back and pull once again but he miscues it just short of the fielder at cow corner. Single taken
