Rohit Sharma collects the trophy and presents it to Ravi Bishnoi and Deepak Hooda, who take the center stage and pose with it. India has had a lot of takeaways from the series and will be looking to carry it on the T20I series too. That's all we have from this match as I, Lavil Saldanha along with my colleague, Pradeep take your leave. Do check Sportskeeda for the latest sports news and live match coverages. Rohit Sharma (India captain): Not looking at the captaincy record. We have ticked a lot of boxes during the series. There will be a lot of outside noise while we play. People watch us as individuals and we are not bothered about the noise that comes from outside. (About Prasidh's bowling) Like I said in the last game, haven't seen anything like that at home. A hit the deck bowler will be helpful for us. The conditions we played on today weren't like the home conditions. Also impressed with the way Siraj bowled throughout the series. (On Kul-Cha playing together)Both Kuldeep and Chahal are vital players for us. Particularly Kuldeep. Chahal was very much in the scheme of things and Kuldeep went off the radar. It is important that we give them that confidence and also start expecting things early than expected. We will be looking to give them a cushion and hope that they perform and play together in the future. (On takeaways from the series) The middle-order batting and Prasidh's performance with the ball in hand was the biggest takeaway for us.
Prasidh Krishna: (man of the series for 9 wickets in 3 games): I have been practising a lot, played the Vijay Hazare Trophy so I feel that I have a lot of overs remaining in me. I like the dismissals which involve the keeper or the slips cordon. The ball was carrying really well. (On having most wickets after first 7 ODIs) We have a good bowling unit in which we learn many things from each other
Shreyas Iyer (man of the match for his 80[111]): It has been a tough last couple of months for me. I was down with a food infection and then with COVID. To be honest I am flexible with batting anywhere in the batting attack but I would prefer batting at number 4 given the current situation. Today's situation was different where you had to play the new ball closer to the body and you need to have a good skill set while tackling it.
Nicholas Pooran (WI captain): Congratulations to India, it has been a fiercely competitive series. The way we bowled as a white-ball team and also the lower order was positive. We did well in the bowling in the last couple of matches but need to put in a lot of work in the longer formats. We are excited about the T20I series
India win the match by 96 runs and win the series 3-0
A ruthless match for the home side as they win the match by a huge margin and also take 30 World Cup Super League points. They swept past the West Indies batting unit in the first ODI, then out-batted the visitors in the second match while putting on a complete performance. India has had a lot of positives through the series and so the West Indies and they will be hoping that these promising signs come for India in the next series to come.
West Indies openers came out to chase a total of 265. They started off well, with Brandon Kings and Shai Hope going all guns blazing. Hope was wrongly adjudged LBW and then two wickets fell in an over as King and Brooks departed in a space of 3 deliveries.
Darren Bravo and Nicholas Pooran looked to stitch a little partnership between themselves but that stand was broken. Pooran carried on but lacked support and then was undone by Kuldeep Yadav.
Then the lower order put on a rearguard action. Odean Smith walked out to the middle and bludgeoned an 18-ball-36, smashing maximums all over the ground. Alzarri Joseph and Hayden Walsh Jr. continued to frustrate the bowlers as they didn't throw the towel in the bucket and blocked any bowler, pace and spin alike.
It took India 79 balls before they could break the 47 runs 9th wicket stand. In the end, Alzarri Joseph pulled on down the throat of deep square leg. West Indies were bowled out for 169 runs and also this is the first instance that West Indies have been whitewashed by India in an ODI series.
Talking of the Indian bowlers, they have been impressive throughout the series. Prasidh Krishna continued his impressive showing throughout the series as he picked up yet another 3 wicket haul, taking his series wicket tally to 9. Mohammed Siraj aided him really well as he picked up a 3fer too and registered his best figures in ODIs.
Deepak Chahar picked up 2 wickets with the new ball in the first powerplay while Kuldeep Yadav, who made his comeback in this game, also picked up a couple of wickets while being slightly expensive. Washington Sundar bowled only a couple of overs but did well to restrict the flow of runs
Mohammad Siraj and Deepak Chahar talking to Deepdas Gupta and Murali Karthik!
Siraj: We've seen in the last three matches we've played, there is always something for the swing bowlers, even in the day and in the night. Catches are part and parcel of the games, some catches gets dropped and we take some unbelievable catches too, I'm OK with that. My plan was simple, hit the right areas where we can induce shots and the fielders take the catches. Odean Smith was ready to take on, I wanted to hit the back of a length for him, hit the right areas again and hoping that he made a mistake and it was successful in the end. Scrambled I use a lot, it's my wicket taking delivery, even in red ball I use a lot and my out swinger too is very useful where I end up taking more wickets.
Chahar: I always stride towards doing well whenever I get my chance, whether it's batting, bowling or fielding. Even today practice was good, I wanted to bat little deep today but didn't work. I wanted to target particular bowlers but could've batted few more overs. I think pace variation is very important the moment you realize there is not much swing on offer, if you keep bowling the same length with pace then it's difficult for batters to becomes too easy, make sure there is always variation with the pace or swing.
37.1 Prasidh Krishna to Alzarri Joseph, OUT! INDIA CLEAN SWEEP WEST INDIES, 3-0! Bangs a short delivery on the off-stump, Joseph swivels to pull but he's top edged it straight down Kohli's throat at deep square-leg who makes no mistake and West Indies are bundled out!

Prasidh Krishna (8-1-27-2) comes back into the attack and will be bowling to Alzarri Joseph on strike
A wicket maiden for Mohammed Siraj. He has truly deserved a wicket and has 3 next to his name in this contest. India are now one wicket away from victory and will be looking to wrap up things soon

36.2 Mohammad Siraj to Hayden Walsh, OUT! BOUNCES WALSH OUT THIS TIME! Short on the leg-stump, Walsh once again gets hurried and top edge's to Rohit at short fine-leg who makes no mistake and a good partnership comes to an end for West Indies!
