That brings us to the end of our coverage for this encounter. Another comprehensive win for India as they take a 2-0 lead in the 3 match series. A merry christmas to all our viewers. Harleen Deol is the Player of the Match, here is what she had to say: Definitely it's a proud moment for me. I have been waiting for this for a long time. When I came into bat, I had that much time. The more I played, I knew I could play more shots. It's when you batting well, it works well irrespective of where you are batting. I was thinking about continuing the flow. Definitely the century means a lot to me. When I was in rehab, I was thinking of scoring a century and wanted to help my team win. That worked pretty perfectly today. For me it's the first one. Today the way I was playing. Few shots wasn't executed well but most of them came off really well.

Harmanpreet Kaur (India captain): Yeah definitely. What we were expecting, we exactly executed that. The opener gave us a 100 run partnership again. It was something we were expecting and happy it turned out. The second innings also the way Hayley was batting indicated it was better for the batters. Yeah I think, we had a decent total on the board. We had the trust on them that any point we can take the wicket and turn the tide. The bowlers did really well. Deepti and Titas bowled really well towards the end.

Hayley Matthews (West Indies captain): Yeah look you never wanna chase 350+. Kudos to their batters. They have talented players and have stepped up in the last two matches. We needed to take early wickets. Yeah, this series is very important for us. The two points in the last game will be very important. We have to sharpen up on our mistakes. Take rest tomorrow and get back to work. It's important to contribute to the end. Bittersweet being at the losing end.

Pratika Rawal: The batting I think (what pleased her the most - half-century, wicket or catch). I just did what I did on the last match, play on merit. The wicket was better than the last match, the bounce was better, the ball was coming onto the bat. The only thing that was in my mind was to hit as hard as I can if anything was in my slot. I had a good practice session yesterday with Amol sir, he changed something in my grip, that helped me a lot. I was not able to hold my nerves in the previous match, was more confident today. I was told in the practice sessions that I will bowl. Happy to contribute to the team.

India Women was yet again very dominant on the field and went on to defend their score of 358 with utmost ease, winning by 115 runs and thus taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. Deepti Sharma was introduced early on in the piece and after going for a couple of boundaries, she deceived Qiana Joseph dismissing her for just 15 runs. Nerissa Crafton, the debutant struck some impressive shots but was dismissed by a well-directed short delivery from Titas Sadhu.

Rashada Williams couldn't quite bother the scorers, getting deceived by a wrong un from Priya Mishra. It was the partnership of Hayley Matthews and Deandra Dottin which was always going to be the make or break partnership for West Indies. Matthews took her time but struck some impressive shots in between. Dottin wasn't at her best and struggled to time the ball. She was eventually castled by Renuka Thakur, breaching her defence with a booming inswinger.

With West Indies struggling at 69/4, it looked like they would fold out rather cheaply but the duo of Matthews and Shemaine Campbelle had other ideas. They started off cautiously but then struck some brilliant shots and went onto share a classy hundred run partnership. However the required rate was just a bit too much and it needed something extraordinary from the two to get anywhere close to the target.

It was Titas Sadhu who brought about the downfall of Campbelle and from there on it was always going to be an uphill task. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Matthews went onto score her 7th ODI century but was dismissed soon after, leaving West Indies with absolute no chance whatsoever. Priya Mishra eventually ended the match, taking the wicket of Karishma Ramharack in the 47th over.

Another comprehensive win for India as they register a 115 run win and takes an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3 match series. Another resounding all-round performance from the Indian Women and they were just too good for West Indies.

Doesn't get enough height or distance on it, and Harleen Deol caps off a special game for herself with a simple catch. India claim the contest by 115 runs and go up 2-0 in the series!
